here she is. just a spec series, but i still think this is an amazing putter. the quality and detail is just awesome. i don't miss my camerons at all. even my brother, who doesn't golf, was amazed by this putter.

Just got the chrome one today :black eye: .

It commemorates the alma mater of myself and my deceased grandfather. Chip and Lee did a fantastic job. 33"/ 350g, chrome plated carbon with a sound slot.

 

Second is an oil can 33"/ 350g w/ sound slot.

How do people actually feel about the sound slots in these? I know it's going to be awfully subjective, and based on personal preference with feel compared to sound...but I was just curious. I used to have a sound slot in my first putter, an old Ray Cook. Seemed to work, but now days I seem to like that nice quiet soft sound of carbon steel as well. It's a hard toss up.

Neither of my C&L putters have sound slots. Conversely, 2 of my 3 Byron putters do. I prefer the feel of the C&L due to the quieter sound they produce. My Byron that doesn't have a sound slot feels pretty good, but it is a center shaft, so I have never really used it.

The feel is great, nice soft carbon feel and the sound slot really emphasizes how you have stroked the putt. You can tell when you hit the sweet spot vs. when you do not. I putt with it on the carpet every night.

 

Mine also has a Fujikura graphite shaft which I HIGHLY recommend, you really feel the head strike the ball with no vibrations, makes for a VERY soft feel while still feeling very solid... no mushiness whatsoever... It is a $100 upcharge but well worth it IMO.

Here is a picture of my 2nd C&L, it is a dark oil can finish with a partial beadblasted surface. This one has yet to see a golf course.

Had her in play for a few rounds now and I am totally impressed by the quality and feel of this putter. I had one bad outing but that was all indian not the arrow. Followed up with a nice 26 putt effort last weekend. You may want to order a hat with the putter too they are sweeet.
