What's his status on Euro Tour?

I know the Ryder Cup isn't until 2018 but can you be a member of the team if you don't have status on either Tour?

You do need to be a member of the European Tour, hence Rahm taking up membership this year. You only have to play 4 events (that aren't the majors or WGCs).

However Poulter is only on a medical exemption on the European Tour as well

Too bad he's struggled with injuries a bit. Looks like he is on the back end of his solid career. Love his Ferrari's! He was so close though just had to make the cut but couldn't. I was rooting for him to make it, but he'll find a way. Should have conditional status.

I'm not sure I understand his position with the Zurich Classic this week. Is he still playing? Can he retain his tour card if he does well?

Ah right. Is that how Patrick Reed got a Eurotour card? He played Scottish Open and the far east events IIRC.

All of that aside, he hits some of the best shanks on tour. Hilarious content almost every week. Need to see IJP back on tour.

OH I don't disagree those guys were wrong and rude, but Poulter eggs people on and when it's returned, he uses his power to seek disproportionate revenge. He's a thin skinned twit.

In a game that relies on self-policing and integrity, it always surprises me that someone who forged signatures to get on the tour is given a pass.

Falsely certifying a 4 handicap that he may or may not have been able to play to at the time to get onto the club professionals training course does not in any way equal getting onto the tour.
