Do these look fake? the Titleist font on the 6 iron.. and the non-brushed chrome on the face outside the grooves jumped out at me..

AMT shafts are stock. However, after looking at my NEW 716CB irons, in the corner of toe the word Tungsten shows, 3-PW cost $1200+. If those are recent, and only 4 rds seems they'd be selling for much more. I blew up the image and no tungsten wording either. I am suspect.

with the lighting - it's hard to read but i would suspect they're there. the angle he's taking the photo - his shadow is covering them.

That's the reason I down loaded the image and blew it up to 1970x2628 on my HD large screen... NO tungsten text. On my new irons Tungsten is fairly pronounced.

i downloaded too but once you zoom in - it distorts the image (HD or no HD screen). i believe the text is there but the angle of the photo is bad. ask for another angle showing the stamps is what i would do.

again, i believe it's just the angle. those irons the OP are talking about look real to me.

yeah i wasn't worried about the tungsten, i do believe that's just the quality and angle of picture.. but the Titleist logo on the 6 iron looks like crap. the L doesn't even loop..

Tungsten is clear.

 

I can't assume its the angle of the image. And can't tell someone paying $400 for clubs that have minor use that cost $1200 new, to go for it. IF in great (4 use) condition, they should be at least $600-$700. There's too many fakes.

lol - you're reaching guy. look how bright that photo is compared to the one the OP has (along with the other 3 listings i provided). also, it's not $400 BIN - the AUCTION still has 4 days left. more than likely they won't stay at $400.

NO, I am not reaching... We're talking about someone else spending money. I just paid $1200+ for 3-PW 716CB's at $165 per club. Auction or not, if those clubs are real 4-PW is worth +/-$700. I notice the image shading too, but I maintain my belief. Text isn't on PW, 9 or 8, but all other clubs it should be viewable, least if I were bidding.

 

If it turns out they are fakes, then what... I am one to error on the side of where I want the ball to land if I miss it, as opposed to not sure so what the hell... :lol: Nothing more to say. Have a good day.
