Like low 30's and 15-20mph winds. My brother and I just got the itch to play, didn't even know if the course would be open. Parking lot was empty, we were the only ones out there. It sucked but it was awesome at the same time.

This might not sound that cold, but in South Carolina, schools have been shut down and bread and milk have sold out at grocery stores for less.

14*, course was closed, but I was the club pro. Me and one of my buds were working Christmas eve for any last minute shoppers. We closed about 2pm and thought we would be tough and play a few holes since the 10 day outlook was so bad. We got halfway down #1 and realized we made a huge mistake. #2 comes right back to the clubhouse, so we played #1 and #2 and quit.

with wind about -14*C

Funnest winter game was at a course with 12" of snow. It was about 40* out, they plowed the fairways and shovelled the greens on that course for winter golf ... it's now houses

I guess about 2-3C (about 35F)

It's hard to play around here in much colder than that because the courses all close when the weather starts getting bad. I actually don't think my course was open at any point in the last few years with the weather colder than that

Hard to say. Coldest feeling what a Michigan Publinx tourney about 10 years ago. Shot a million, wind was blowing, temp was about 40. Was out there 5.5 hours. I quit the publinx after that ridiculousness.

Played twice when it started to snow. Had a cart cover one time, the other not. Putted through snow on two greens! That was kinda cool.

In dec 2015 it was 32F when we started, 32F when we ended. I made it a point to look at the temp. But there was zero wind, we had the cart cover and TWO heaters going. I only had a couple of layers on, and it was actually quite pleasant.

Funny, my buddy and I were complaining about the cold one day this winter. We both were freezing, I asked him what the temperature was and he looked on his phone....it was 64 degrees. We both grabbed pullovers and actually discussed going in and just having drinks. I know, pretty fair weather guys I guess, but in south Florida, your blood gets pretty thin.

if you played in ohio you could only play may-august and you would be cold in may lol

Yeah, grew up in Minnesota, so remember those days. Moved a long time ago. Great golf up there though, miss the nice midwest courses.

Not by choice, started the round at around 51*, then it got cloudy and windy, by hole 11 we had a bit of a drizzle, the temp on my phone said 34*, it felt like 14*, we went straight to the club house and got a rain check for the rest of the round, like posted above, I will play at 50* or higher...living in Hawaii for 6 years spoiled me to the max...been in VA since 2015 and still cannot force myself to play in colder temps...

Cart cover and multiple coleman heaters is the trick. When I lived back in Buffalo, NY we would often play when the temp was around freezing and the course was open. Slap on the cart cover, crank up the heater.

Low 30's (F) with a light rain and 15-20 mph winds. The light rain washed away the frost, so there was that.....

Hand warmers, mittens in between shots, whiskey shots in between golf shots, and an extra mitten with a hand warmer that I'd keep a few golf balls in.

I've always said that I enjoy playing musclebacks. I really do. There's nothing quite like it, till you hit a frozen ball, with a frozen 4i thin, and you look down to see if any of your fingers had broken off, by chance.

It was snowing when I finished. When I got back in my car it said about 27*. Ground was frozen and the ball was bouncing off of greens on the approach. Anything more than a 1/4" deep divot made a "click" sound as your club hit the frozen ground underneath. Can't wait to not do that again.

Teed off when it was 29 but the sun was out with no wind so it wasn't that bad.

Worst round was 33 when the scramble started. Windy and small patches of rain. High temp for the round was 36 I think. Brutal day.
