Hey velandgolf, i think its funny you started this thread considering your ebay history with fubar scotty camerons haha

if im not mistaken it was you that won the auction for the welded centershaft one of a kind thing of beauty that which brings up the question:

whatever happened to it, when the thread sort of died i remember reading that someone was going to try to do a restore, but i never saw any updates. if it was done or is being done .... post some pics all of us are curious as to the fate of the original franken putter from velandgolf

i want to back up the story line, at some point in time, according the back story, if accurate, they seller found buried in the ground.

I just can't believe at some point someone wanted to bury a scotty in the ground. talk about stupid.
it's sad, maybe some body can bring it back to being functional for a "second life.

The D-bag said it was lost in the mail and then relisted it about 2 months later. I think the bidding for the second time around hovered around $1800. LOL
