Taylormade Upgrade Program

You: I want to spend no more than $500 for my irons ...

The Store: How much can you spend each month -- $50? $100?

You: OK - I will offer $800 for the irons and one M2 driver ...

The Store: I gotta talk to my manager ...

You: OK - we have a deal ...

The Store: I really think you should buy driver head scratch and dent insurance - only $9.99 per month (for 24 months) ...

The possibilities are endless!

Don't leave out the undercoating/rustproofing. And let's not forget, for something financed like this you're probably required to carry "full coverage", so there go your insurance rates!

Kind of surprised this thread hasn't been merged with the other big one on financing golf equipment?

And to Johnny4379 if you're still listening, I apologize for the up-skirt pic comment. Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, just an attempt at some dry humor.

Was probably better kept between myself and wife - we are both MF-ing Pervs who would definitely benefit from going to church more often and socializing with others like yourself who publicly call other people we've never met MF-ing Pervs. Sorry if I offended, not my intention, but what can I say, I'm a sinner.

I can see how you all hate this idea when you can afford to keep paying hundreds of dollars to own each club, which is fantastic for you all. its good you are making a ton of money to afford that. But i am speaking as a millennial here because i am. im just about 19 and in college working seasonally at a golf course that just lost its pro because he was an *** to everyone and ran it into the ground then jumped ship, and am now looking for a new job because my current job is unclear. Point is if i paid money outright for clubs id be more in debt from that than i would be from college. This IMO is beneficial to people like me and to TMAG both. I can purchase top clubs that the pros use for what is deemed affordable to me because instead of waiting so much time to save up enough to shell out $1000 for new irons that might be outdated in a couple years (see the problem with that) i can just pay $20-40 dollars or whatever a month for those amazing new clubs, and then switch to the next great set of irons and continue paying $20-40 a month. It would be cheaper for me than to buy a $1000 set of irons every year or two, A LOT CHEAPER. Same goes for that Spotify music app that i personally LOVE. I listen to music all the time and always listen to new songs. Instead of paying $1-2 for each song (a song ill probably listen to for a month or two then maybe every three months) i just pay $10 a month, now $5 because i have that college deal from spotify, and listen to literally ANY SONG I WANT. I can even play anything on demand or shuffle, instead of listening to those same songs because thats all i have, or whatever the radio has on. Point is, people like myself always want the newest a greatest things, and these are ways to always have that in a cheaper way for us. If Taylormade takes the clubs i had and gives me the new clubs until a upgrade again, and resells the old clubs, GREAT. Because its cheaper for me, and helps TMAG keep a profit which keeps the system going. I dont care AT ALL if the resell the old clubs because it doesnt affect me at all. See what im saying here?
