Then your buddies are DB's. And they "could not" care less, unless they realize how stupid they are and actually want to buy authentic clubs to play their best rather than fake crap to pretend like they're fooling all their buddies into thinking they're cool with fancy, expensive clubs.

That's not the point. The point is the fact the seller is misrepresenting a product . Selling fake crap and trying to pass it off as the real deal is wrong.

These fakes on ebay also come with shrink wrap plastic ...the authentics do not. Yes, the cavity is quite different. Nice call.

representing a fake item as authentic is a problem and a crime. These items are obviously fake to the trained eye but some people or even the majority of people don't see enough clubs to know. And they won't know until someone else tells them. By that time the seller is long gone with the money. I had a guy show me a Scotty Cameron that broke at the neck. He wanted me to repair it. I told him it was fake and he had no idea the whole time he was playing it. It was cheap casted and sounded like a Ping putter off the face. (For lack of a better comparison).

 

I'm all for replicas and things like that as long as the seller is up front about it. The buyer needs to know what they are getting. There's plenty of replicas out there that serve their purpose. But to pass them off as authentic is wrong.

Fakes will always be around with people not willing to part with the $$ to buy the real stuff. They just want the look of high end stuff in their bags to show off. They see a set that is $1200+ and can't afford it, so they go to ebay or some Chinese knock-offs site and purchase them there. Its sad because it is causing millions of dollars for the major brands to have to fight and people either don't care or they are too misinformed about what they are buying.

Go to ebay page for item and click the "report item" link.

 

When crap like these clubs shows up everyone should report them as fake. That's the only way ebay will know counterfeit crap is being sold on the site.
