Help Picking a Putter

Hi,

 

I'm a lefty trying to decide between a few putters. I've tested an X3 and squareback but have yet to find a seemore sb-1.

 

My stroke is fairly sbst with a little bit of arc. Out of these 3 which would you choose??

I like the look of the squareback but was sort of surprised at how short (from toe to heel) it is. If that doesn't bother you...and I'm assuming that it didn't since you tested it.....I would go with that (out of these 3).

 

But, one other question....why only these 3? There are a lot of great putters out there.

These are just 3 that caught my eye but I'm open to anything. I just really want a new putter to start the season off.

 

Your right about the squareback I demoed a stock 35" but thought it felt quite light and was thinking if I ordered it would be the 34" heavy option.

 

Do you like the seemore line at all?

Personally, I've never really been interested in seemore putters. Not really sure why....I assume they make a great product. At these prices, there are alot of options out there. Byron, Bettinardi, C&L, etc.... would all be on my list of possible putters. And like tbowles411 said, machine putters - they have a very interesting concept that I wouldn't mind trying out. And since you are in Canada, you still have about 5 months before it gets warm enough to golf, right?

 

Then again, you might want to stick to just those 3 or your list could get so long that you never decide.

 

And I'm certainly no expert but the key for me is confidence. Before I found this site, I always thought of Camerons as the cream of the crop (because of this site, I now know of about 10 other brands that I would love to try out). When I finally got a cameron, my confidence soared and I'm now putting better again...now I have 5. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is different for everybody. You've already found 3 that fit your eye....all 3 are good putters so pick one and feel good about it.

Yup, the SB1 is an amazing putter. You can get one in lefty, just difficult to find one in a shop. You should call SeeMore and see who carries their putters near you.

 

SB1 is a great putter...but then again I am a better putter because of SeeMore.
