Byron promotes:

his designs (head designs, stamps)

hand finishing after the CNC milling (He puts a TON of hand work into each and every head... and it shows)

his history. Since 1989 and Numerous Tour Pros have used them without pay.

wide variety of options from head styles grips, headcovers, finishes

 

C&L promotes:

hand stampings

 

When I look at the 350 C&L I see a rushed looking job. Every edge looks barely finished from the neck, bumpers, heel, toe, topline and cavity. Compare it to any Byron and you'll see better bevels and more refined edges.

 

ALSO, the face milling... the deep face milling found on Camerons, 350 Milleds, etc are a quicker, cheaper method to flatten a face. The deep mill marks come from a quick pass on the milling machine. A slower pass (time and tool wear) is a costlier method.. more care. This doesn't even begin to mentioned Byron's Twilight Zone face milling.

 

There's only one choice if someone is in the market for a well crafted boutique putter that is worth it's cost.

Pics are worth alot of words, right? Here's a Flow Neck C&L next to a Byron DH89. Both are very nice and worth every penny IMO.
