Interesting stuff on the Usga website

Seems the product is labelled differently for Japan and USA markets , mizuno pro 118 and mizuno mp 18

Also a s118 wedge/ mizuno pro 18 wedge I take it designed to replace the s5

yep I missed this

That is one ugly arse wedge.....

I still don't think that they've introduced a wedge better than the 11, but Madison tells me that I'm in a hazed out time warp so who knows, maybe I'm off?

All the Best?

Was there a LH version of this on the site?

EDIT: I meant the MP18 us version. Do you have a link to the site. Tried searching with no luck.

no LH version of mp 18 or 118 posted. I doubt we will see one but would be cool to get a true combo set LH.

Why do people still try keep calling a CB a blade. If it's got a cavity it's not a blade. Blades are solid, no cut out of the back. I'm will to bet SC stands for ......... drum roll please Split Cavity. Now if it has those little slots or cut outs in the muscle or bottom back side its called Pocket cavity i.e.... the MP-52.

PS: before anyone has a fit, I'm just busting some golf balls, please don't get all upset because the typed word may offend you. :stop: :taunt: :swoon:

I'm just trying to clarify that Blades look like this :

By the way the MP-18 SC looks pretty decent from what I can see here.

I know it is splitting hairs, but the MP-4 is more of a muscle back than a blade... The 33 or 37 would be a blade.

Damn... just settled in on some z 565s w/ modus after off loading my 25's for a little more help, and Mizzy does this! These will be in my bag in September, no matter how well I'm hitting my 565s... I loved my Mp 52s! Wonder if these will fit that category or lower caps?

Yeah finally get rid of that harsh feeling GF Boron so the SC has GF Forged HD yet the S18 is GF Forged Boron?

The 900F and T7's may not feel as soft as MP4's, but hash, is a bit much. It has more to do with the head design than the boron....

Just my opinion and I've played every lefty MP since the MP 30s and the GF Boron felt like a cast club to me. Also no noticable distance difference

I agree - I've owned Most MP irons the last 10 years - The 25s were a disaster and the 900F feel like AP1s

No attempt to discount your feelings on the club. I own MP5's, and they do not feel as soft, no doubt, but do not think they resemble anything cast. I have owned a lot of Mizzy sets myself.

No different than thinking we will all like the same putter mill/insert.

Sorry the Boron doesn't change the feel the design does. They don't use enough boron in the head to change feel.

Ok either way my MP 54s felt a ton softer than the MP 25s.

no debate on that one. I also feel like the 900F are much better than the 25's. JMO.

A combo set is definitely on my radar. My hope is that they extend in the Modus line (125-130), and add the S-Taper as no upcharge.

New Mizuno irons are my biggest weak spot as for equipment.

How do the 7 irons feel in comparison?

Ok, I'm sick of hearin "thank god, no boron," lol

I have not hit my 25's yet so I can't compare them to my 68's and even when I'm able to swing, it's gonna be a hell of a different swing from the last time that I swung a club so I really won't be the yardstick to speak of the differences between the two irons.

Obviously there will be the difference in that the 68 is a blade and the 25 is a MCB, however for those of you that PLAY a Mizzy blade, regardless of the model, what is the difference between your present blade and the boron steel iron, feel wise?

I'm not lookin for a wagon jumper but someone who actually BAGS and PLAYS/PLAYED a Mizzy BLADE-

Also, is there anyone that likes the 25's and why so?

Thanks much?

Have a great day/evening?
