Global Golf has the NX7 new for $169.95, but nothing about the $50 rebate. Says it's in stock and ready to ship. No pro models in stock as far as I can tell. If it's there hopefully someone can correct me because for a final cost of $120 I'd pull the trigger

I checked into this yesterday--there will be no rebate from PPGolf in this situation since it is their position that Global Golf's price reflects the full price minus the rebate. I inquired because Global had the pro model--$249 at ppg before rebate and promotion--for $199, and when you stack free shipping and 15% off at Global, the price was $169, and I checked with Jonah of ppg who informed me that there would be no rebate from ppg--since Global was selling the unit for less than $249. I assume the same policy applies when a retailer sells the regular model for less than $199.

 

If you have questions like I had, ppg responds immediately to emailed questions. Jonah replies immediately which was appreciated. And my email was on a holiday Sunday.

I ordered NX7 Thursday night, no tracking or anything Friday...although I'm not sure how fast they're shipping currently. Hopefully it ships soon, want to take it with me this upcoming weekend

I'm not sure where to vent, but still no update from my 4/17 Budget Golf order...I called and they claimed it may ship today...we'll see. I'm running out of time to actually use the thing! Hopefully soon.

Sorry for the issues you're having with this. We've been sold out for a few weeks now as demand has been much higher than we anticipated.

 

We do have more products coming in hopefully on Thursday. Unfortunatelywe can't control if someone else sell's a product that is out of stock but we'll get things to you as fat as possible.

Just got a USPS alert that the tracking on my package has updated. Currently showing delivery for Friday if USPS does their job (we'll see about that). Kudos to PPG for getting the order out quick...I'm excited to use the new rangefinder this weekend! I'll update here after I use it and give a little feedback.

So, I contacted customer service about this, but figured I'd post here too.

 

I bought mine about 2 weeks ago and have played 2 rounds with it. I wear Oakley's my entire round and do my lasering with them on. This thing has been MASSIVELY inconsistent for me. I have been having to tag the flag 5-6 times. If i am 150 away, I'll get yardages as follows: 148.2, 151.3, 155.2, 4.6, 121.5.

 

Those are not typos. Also, in slope mode, the slope reading is always different than other range finders in the group...and 10-15 yards different on significant uphill or downhill.

 

Am I doing something wrong? Does it hate my glasses?

I've been getting readings of either 5.9 or 6.0 yards - from everywhere on the course. I gave up using it yesterday because I was needing to shoot a flag 5+ times to get a reading other than 5.9/6.

 

It's almost like this thing doesn't like reflectors on the flagstick, because I haven't had an issue shooting other objects.

I suppose you're correct, it could be an error on USPS's end. I have never had any issues w/ them in the past and I receive and ship packages almost daily from them.

Ordered my Pro from Revolution Golf on May 3rd Still haven't seen it. Left an Email for their customer they are backed up with all the great products they sell to answer my Email for 3 to 5 days. Last time for them. I would just like to get a refund and get something else my next move will be to Pay Pal as a dispute.

Shipping for my Pro finally updated. Only took 6 days. Better late than never. Expected delivery is Monday. Hope everyone that was waiting for shipping also got good news today!

My NX7 was delivered today....of course today is one of the handful of days throughout the year I'm not working from home...but I can't wait to get home and just shoot some average distances around the neighborhood with it. Putting it in the bag for Saturday, so I'll give some more feedback after my first round with it compared to the Bushnell V3 that my father currently uses.

I called them Monday, they left a voicemail saying the shipment is being held up by customs for FDA approval. They hope to be cleared by today but no word on that.

Played a round today and used my Pro for the first time. On a number of holes I had a difficult time pulling a legit number. One hole in particular I couldn't get a number higher than 40 yards to save my life (my Garmin watch had the yardage at 165ish). I spent a few minutes tagging and re-tagging and still the small number now matter what I tried. Other times I'd tag a flag and get one number. Then I'd re-tag and get a number that was 20-30 yards off. The slope feature did save me a few strokes on a couple holes so it wasn't all bad. Some of the tagging issues I had might be because I've never used a range finder before. Not totally blaming the Pro.

 

Some positives, it's very lightweight and feels great in hand. The case design is also great. Not having to zip/unzip all day is a huge plus. Overall I really like everything about it. Just hope the issues I had are on my end and not the devices.

All these posts don't seem to bode well for this laser. Is this product available in any store or only via mail order? I prefer to actually see, hold, and use a product like a rangefinder prior to purchase. All I know is I went to my local Golf Galaxy a month ago checked out their offerings and settled on a Bushnell V4 for $240 (price match from TGW). Unit is accurate and virtually instant to lock on targets. No drama needed.

FYI, one reviewer encountered issues due to hand interference. Perhaps it is related...
