Well I just rec'd a Callaway XR 16 Pro 18* Fairway wood from Callaway Pre Owned.

 

The thing is brand new, Iooks like it has never hit a ball, still has the stickers on it and the best part because it was sold to me as a used club no tax,duty or brokerage or the usual UPS screw you fee. I'm in Canada and stuff coming up from the US UPS likes to hammer you when they have to collect tax and or duty

 

Today was a win win

I recently ordered an X-12 Approach wedge to help finish out my set and wasn't really happy with what I received. Probably just me being picky, especially since I bought it in "good" condition, but it had a small dent in the shaft, had some spots of rust on the shaft, no shaft band and a PING grip. But the head is in really good condition. And I didn't know that the medallion in the cavity came in blue......all of my other X-12's have black medallions. Anyhow, glad you had a great experience. I heard a LOT about how good they are.

I also had a great experience. Ordered a Great Big Bertha Alpha 815 driver and it also looked brand new with no signs of ever having hit a ball.

Well, my second order was as successful as my first

I picked up a 3-pw set of MP14's with factory installed rifle 6.0's with 7-pw browning but very good groove depth left. Rest of the clubs and overall condition is A+(love head covers) paid $59.00 shipped.

Had a great experience. "Like new" clubs were still wrapped. Delivery was quick. Staff was very helpful. Price unbelievable after discount. If you know your specs, it is a good way to go.

I'd concur. I've ordered "good" and gotten kinda beat up...ordered "average" and gotten nothing but a couple ball marks on the face and a spotless sole and crown.

I took advantage of the 30% off this weekend and bought a set of Apex combo irons in average condition. The price was dirt cheap for having the 95/110 recoils. Should be here tomorrow and I hope they are in better condition than I'm thinking. Haha

There should not be a dent in the shaft. Otherwise it fits their description of good, I think

My only order from them was in good shape... a GBB 9* w/ Rogue I/O X-Stiff in "Average" conditionfor $99 shipped. Head was closer to "Good" but not quite miracle condition others have received. Shaft was a demo cart shaft and still hat the plug demo cart plug in the end of the grip. That said, shaft easily sold for $75, and I was able to throw in a $10 FGS shaft and trade it in for $150 during a 50% trade bonus promo.

My "new" Ping Gs arrived yesterday in very good condition. No complaints here. Taking them up to the factory for a lie angle check tomorrow. If you don't intend to trade any clubs with CPO, check out their Ebay store. Some clubs are $50 - $60 bucks cheaper and shipping is free.
