Which is the best Srixon driver?

I was fitted by HOTSTIX and it recommended the W-506. Anyone have any comments on any of the Srixon drivers?

I have been a fan of the Ping drivers in the past and pretty much smoked 'em. What would I gain from going to a Srixon? (The Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara 73X at a frequency of 6.7 was recommended as the best shaft for me too, as well as the Srixon Z-URS ball was HOTSTIX's top recommendation for me too)

my pro plays all srixon and we have demos there both the 9.5 and the 10.5 with the nasty stock shafts were balloners i think if i got the right shaft and a 7.5 or 8.5 i would hit it off the charts to scared to try it :tongue:

and i want the 905R as i am a Titleist hoe :)

W-505. Conformed to USGA. It is a better driver than the US version W-506.

i played a 403 for a while and am very interested in the 506. my driver was an absolute cannon, but the only problem is the crap stock shaft (i put a graf. blue in mine) and the closed face on every driver no matter what loft. but all in all a very underrated driver company IMO

I had the 302 for a while, then i tried the 506. I hit it about 15 yards longer. Yes, the stock shafts are weak, the stiff plays inbetween a stiff and reg, just like Callaways uniflex shaft. But Srixon also offers the Aldila NV 65 stiff and the ProLaunch Blue as stock items and they offer the NV 75, YS 6+ and Vista Pro 70 custom with no up charge and the 652 and 757 speeders with $110 up charge. I have an 8.5 PLB and 9.5 Speeder in the 506, both go a mile, the Speeder I can swing a little harder though without pulling the ball.

Sorry, I haven't hit a Srixon driver, but hope to.

Anyway- isn't HotStix supposed to be one of the premier fitters in the country? Did you end up buying the Srixon driver? It would be a shame to go through the fitting process and not get the driver that you got the best fit and numbers with. Really think brand is just a preference, and then you get the right loft and shaft to make it work. Let us know if you got the Srixon driver, I'd be interested to hear your initial thoughts on it!
