Well at least you don't need to worry about puttin a ding in the top line :-)

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
- Lord Tennyson

I think its funny that we complain about everything looking the same and yet we also ridicule those that present something that is at least cosmetically different. I like the look, its fresh and yet carries a traditional shape.

I like Bettinardi and currently game one, but why do they need so many violence-based themes. From the 2nd amendment headcover to this Armageddon putter, I feel like someone needs to remind them that they make sports equipment for a game that requires hitting a small white ball around, not military equipment. The world is violent enough, can't there be any respite

I like the loop velcro cover. I've got a ton of patches I'd keep on a cover. I once asked Delilah about turning an old flight jacket/suit into a putter cover with the velcro patches but never got a response. I think I'm going to try again and see if it can be done.

Instead of using ad hominem attacks, why don't you actually respond to my post in an intelligible manner

Bettinardi does have a history milling equipment for the department of defense.

As pointed out, there is plenty of "fun" stuff coming out of their shop as well. Kool-Aid line, the Super Soaker head cover also comes to mind.

ok, how is the 2nd Amendment violence based? I feel like someone needs to remind you that 99+% of the gun violence perpetuated is done so by lawless individuals and not legal gun owners. After seeing how the left reacts to things that they don't like, they are the ones that shouldn't legally own a firearm.

Please provide the citation on your 99% figure, because I assure you that's patently false. Secondly, regardless of your feelings about then, a gun is a weapon, hence the violence reference.

More importantly, I wasn't trying to get into an argument about gun rights, I was merely trying to question why putters, a club designed to roll a ball, need this pseudo macho marketing. When putting, do you need a reminder of your manliness by staying down a gun themed club?

This thing is sharp! The consistency in the matte color from the shaft through to the putter head itself is on point. Also really like the do-it-yourself headcover. Betti has so many cool designs that it'd be fun to mix and match.

The theme fits a lot of the raw, minimalist Betti putters and it happens to look like a tank. I think it would instill confidence at address. Has nothing to do with "wanting to remind myself of my manliness". I just want to make putts.

Why do you need a physical citation on the subject? Do you honestly believe that the law-abiding citizens are the ones going around and shooting up places? HONESTLY? A gun, or as many people refer to it as a firearm, is a tool to most people. In like terms a golf club is a weapon as well. If you need the physical evidence you may want to refer to Tiger's Ex-wife.

If you're concerned about the companies marketing concepts of a putter company, you may need to refocus your decisions and try to divert them to something that actually matters. Who cares about what they call it. If you don't like it, move on! They clearly did not choose this to OFFEND YOU directly.

Gun / military / macho themed products appeal to men in this country. Plain and simple. By comparison, do you think pink bear stamps on the bottom of the putter would appeal more to their customer demographic?

I applaud them trying something different in a world of look-a-likes and corps who are afraid to venture outside their comfort zone when it comes to designing their products.
