How did you come across these, and what did you think of them?

Global Golf has (or had) them. Last I checked there were still some left in limited quantities. I like them. The Dots are a little softer and flight a little lower it seems, and they spin a little better around the green. The X's are a little firmer, spin a little less off the driver, flight a little higher, and don't have quite as much greenside spin.

Thanks for the reply. Your description of the SR3X sounds like the Chrome +++ I've been playing for the past few months. Been playing Callaway balls for a long time, but just can't get on board with the Soft and Soft X. Found them both to be very jumpy and unpredictable off full short irons and wedges.

Picked up a '17 M1 9.5* head to put on the ATMOS Blue. I was getting along fine with the 430 and '16 M2, but this eBay sale was too good to pass up. Probably going to have some stuff to list on the BST soon to clear out the stable a bit.

I'm so jealous of you guys and the Atmos! I wish I new you were looking for a M1? I have 9.5 Tour I would've gave you a good deal on.

Got the 17 M1 460 head + ATMOS combo out on the course Saturday. It took a few holes to get used to the larger head shape coming from the 430, but once I got it dialed in, the ball just seemed to float in the air forever. I drove 3 greens - granted the wind was very strong and one of them took a very favorable bounce, but it was a great maiden voyage. The Oven Origin B2-05 was solid. I'm definitely going to have to add a top line for alignment though.

'17 M1 460 head is working out well with the ATMOS shaft. Fired a career best 72 this weekend.

Picked up some new TW71 shoes and added to the RZN Proto ball stash.

    KYE1wWg.jpg?1

Then decided to replace the spikes to add some color - a little icy blue

    Good work on the 72!

I just picked up a hotmelted 17 M1 head and going to go head to head with the Epic SZ. Waiting for my shaft to arrive now. Have the KK DC 60TX in the Epic.

Throwing a VA Composites Raijin in the M1. I didn't love last years m1 or m2, but had the 17 M2 for a bit this year and I think being able to tinker with it just a little bit could be a winner. Love the way it sets up to my eye. Can't wait to get it on the course.

Thanks! It was on my home course (par 70). Definitely the best I have ever played - I had a legitimate shot at a 69/70 - 3 putted with an uphill eagle chance from 20' and lipped out another short birdie putt. The M1 with RAIJIN shaft sounds sweet! I bet that thing will be a monster.

Yeah I had 2 weeks in a row of mental stumbles.

shot a 36 last weekend missing 3 birdie putts inside 10 feet on 7, 8, and 9 coming in. Irons were absolutely on fire and couldn't putt.

then a 38 yesterday with a double on a 150 yard par 3 by leaving myself out of position.

Playing solid, just gotta avoid those errors. Nothing like the 3 putt par.

Raijin got held up in transit so who knows when I will get it. I am thinking its going to be a pretty nasty combo

RIP to the Nike camo cart bag. The divider seams came un-done around the putter well. The whole divider was loose moving up and down, and it made it pretty much impossible to get the putter/woods in and out of the bag. Luckily Nike still honored their 2 year warranty on bags, so it got sent back for a full refund. Moving on to this never released '17 Nike navy cart/staff bag. It should be here next week. There was no mention of this bag in the catalogs that got released pre-exit-announcement. It looks like the Sport cart bag with a big staff bag front pocket. There are no other pictures out there, so hopefully it works out.

Yesterday was a nice mail day: New Nike cart bag, LCV shoes, and [not pictured] a backup Engage 56* wedge that I will get bent to 55*

Nike Sport Cart V GV Bag - Navy/Silver

And since the bag was a pre-release salesman sample, it came with swatch side panels that show what the other color options for this bag model would have looked like - with functioning zipper pocket.

All of the [could-have-been] bag colors for reference:

Finally getting around to switching to the new Nike bag. Had to pick up some headcovers/towel that matched. And some new WRX stuff

The driver cover is a one-off all-white Stitch cover, 3 wood USA cover is from Sunfish, navy canvas Stitch alignment stick cover matches the bag perfectly, and the red Tyson Lamb circle Texas towel that I had to go through Table Rock to get.

Sending the Method Matter B2-05 off today to have some work done - figured I would share some progress pics. I have had this copper insert sitting around for a while, and the project got put to the side when I found the Oven Origin B2-05.

I pulled the RZN insert off of the putter (heat and patience did the trick). Cleaned the glue out (did some more cleaning after these pics) and got it all packaged up for a trip to get some engraving and a refinish from the Putter Spa.

Copper insert set in the putter as-is

I like the way the insert looks with the black putter, but this black finish doesn't hold up all that well, so I wanted to go ahead and have it re-finished silver while I had the insert out. I'll post more update pics as I get them.

    Cool set up

I hit the atmos blue this summer in my instructors '17 M1 . .dead solid. He swing 125+ though and he had it tipped and it still felt great. I think the weight was 70 and not 80 though

I'm a huge FUJI fan going back years with lots of old tour specs

    A few Q's:

    1. where does the blue love come from?

    2. The Titleist hybrid seems an outlier? FWIW, I have that same shaft in 93 in an Adams hybrid

    3. No toe sweep wedges? (I have only one Nike club and it's a toe sweep .. pretty crafty grind

    Thanks!

    1. That is a good question. The blue set up wasn't really intentional. I just kept adding more blue, and it just kind of happened.

    2. Before I switched to a mostly Nike setup, I was playing all Titleist (913D3, 913F, 913H, 710 CB, Vokey wedges) and the Titleist hybrid is a holdover from those. I don't use the hybrid much, but I liked it so I held on to it - mostly because it took a while to find that shaft.

    3. I have a bunch of backup Engage wedges that are waiting to be gripped with mid-size grips. One of them is a 58* Toe Sweep. I've mostly used the square and dual sole grinds, but the toe sweep is intriguing (it just doesn't fit my current wedge setup unless I add some loft)

Gadzooks man, are you playing from the white tees ?????

I know, it's not very WRX-y of me. I was playing with a family member that doesn't play much. Playing any further back would have taken a while.

    Adidas shoes? Blasphemy.

Everything looks good though man, nice set up!

    I know man...they were a gift. They're actually more comfortable than most of my Nike shoes...so I keep wearing them. image/busted2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':busted2:' />

I hear ya... I have a pair or two, really comfortable. I tend to mostly not like their colourways and lack of style. Every shoe looks the same to me.

I'm ones of those who sacrifice comfort for style.... so far haha

Just got update pics of the putter refinish from the Putter Spa, and I absolutely love how it turned out. NIKE block logo and initial engraving on the face, BB Satin finish with mostly white and blue paint fill. Custom copper insert installed.

    Refinish: Putter Spa

    Engraving: Texas Tough Engraving

    Copper Insert: Bigfoot Golf

The copper insert bumped the head weight up to 368. I went with the Flatso 1.0 grip (85g) instead of the lighter 2.0 to counter the heavier head a bit.
