Ladies, your most comfortable shoe?

Recommended Posts

Hey to the ladies out there on GolfWrx....are there any? ;) what are your most comfortable golf shoes you wear? I've tried Ecco and Adidas thus far. My mom was really turned on by the True Linkswear but after a month of wearing them her feet are really sore. I believe it's the barefoot technology...it's not exactly right for everyone.

Any reviews out there? I'm on the hunt again. Thanks.

(fyi, the Adidas are the Paula Creamer version...they hurt like a mofo after 18 holes...same goes for the Ecco, which are Hydromax)

Personally, I wear only wear adidas golf shoes. My favorite version is the Natalie, I find it more supportive then the Paula signature shoe. But if you can't wear adidas I'd try footjoy. They are the most popular golf shoe and have lots of different versions for us women. I had a pair of dryjoys but I didn't like them because I thought they were too soft and not as supportive. Hope this helps!
Also look at golf shoes on zappos.com - they have a TON of golf shoes

Bite Golf AC (they are discontinued, I bought a couple pairs 2 years ago). Roomy toe box, and the fabric upper breathes.
For leather shoes, I like my Footjoy Summer series, but the toe area feels a little pinchy after walking 18. Since I walk 99% of the time, they don't get worn as much.
I recently picked up a pair of Geox shoes (another European brand like Ecco) and they were comfortable out of the box, walked 18 with no problem...but they have some fugly styles, only a couple of sporty ones that don't look bad.
Have a pair of Adidas Tour Metal (IIRC...couple of years old) which are also very comfortable to walk in. Fit foam insole does a good job.
Depending on what your comfort issues are, sometimes getting a good insole makes all the difference. For me, comfort is about the toe box and the heel, soles don't affect me as much.

It's not how...it's how many

My ex girlfriend had a pair of addidas that she hated and a pair of footjoy sports and she raved about. Loved them so much she once said they were among her most comfortable shoes, not just golf shoes. She would walk when we played a short executive course, but she was mostly a cart rider, but she was the hackiest of hacks so she often walked 25 yards at a time while i drove behind and read a book. She never complained about hurting feet or anything like that. This may not be all that helpful, but i thought it was worth telling.

This concludes my contribution to the ladies Golf style forum for today

I won't say just how many pairs of golf shoes I have (my husband says way too many), but my most comfortable ones are Nike's golf shoes that look like athletic shoes, & I have several different pairs of them. I also have several pairs of Adidas that are very comfortable. I have trouble with Footjoys. I've also had a pair or two of Bite golf shoes that were very comfortable.

I have given up on women's golf shoes. In my experience they don't provide good support, don't have enough spikes, and fall apart too quickly. I have a big foot (10.5 or so) which allows me options in men's shoes. The difference is night and day with the quality. The absolutely most comfortable and best performing shoes I have ever worn are the TM Tour Boost shoes. I can walk 18 then practice for 3 hours with little discomfort. I would not hesitate to walk 36. They also provide excellent support and have plenty of grip with the full set of spikes. Since I give it a rip that is very important. I wish TM made the same exact shoe in women's sizes and colors, but they do not. Sad for such an excellent shoe.

have you ever tried the ecco biom hybrids? my feet would always hurt after if i would walk a round but with these, they never do! expensive but worth the investment IMO.

I need real spikes for good grip so hybrids won't work for me. I have a pair of Ecco bioms and they are not bad. Reasonably comfortable, but the leather is very soft limiting the lateral stability.

SKECHERS GO GOLF PRO (men's). The most comfortable golf shoe I've ever worn. Love to look nice But, comfort is way more important when I'm trying to smash a drive or walk thru the woods to get my smashed drive, lol. I do my fair share of shopping for golf clothes and shoes, best yet.

i have wide feet so i generally wear men's golf shoes.

the footjoys are spiked and are the contour series. the contour series with the green insole are a much better shoe(different year i guess).

the ashworth cardiff adc(2014) are very comfortable. the cardiff adc ll are rigid and uncomfortable.

ecco has a spiked biom that i truly like. shock- a womens size fits just fine.

i try to golf daily and sometimes change to another shoe after the first nine.
