Head shapes look really good. Don't mind the copper, pretty subdued actually.

 

I'm missing a hybrid from the bag and the weight port on my driver cracked and fell out, so now the SW is probably messed up. Glad to see the new weight port is metal and not cheapo rubber.

 

Most likely will get the G400 Driver, FW, and 2 hybrids. Think it's time! And knowing PING, these are going to be solid performers. I just have no idea what shaft is right for me anymore. Does anyone know if they're also releasing the tour shaft again? I can't remember if it was mentioned in the other thread.

 

I hope the MOI is still super high, but also hope they worked on the sound. They should employ "cotton-ball" acoustic technology or something.

Well, I was thinking about picking up a G driver when the price drops...but this looks rather nice.

 

Also, going off the looks alone, it looks like Ping's produced some good fairway woods and hybrids again.

 

The driving iron has "Crossover" faintly etched on the back and G400 on the hosel. What's with that? It looks like the normal crossover, just with a different finish.

trust me NCN, in hand looking at it closely, and then sitting it down at address, it is very different than the original Crossover.

The new crossover does look really nice.

 

I don't know the answer to that but if they went forged cup face I am sold. Really impressed that they incorporated dimples without them looking too bad. First time that's been done in my opinion. Dimples truly help aerodynamics but they sure are ugly....until now.

 

That face looks really deep too. Can't believe I just bought a cobra f7+. I should have waited.

 

The weights not being a perfect fit in the hole is bothering me though.

The Ping G at 460 does not look oversized at all. If the G400 is 440-445, it should look even better.

The Ping G at 460 does not look oversized at all. If the G400 is 440-445, it should look even better.

I haven't played anything under a 460 in forever. The "deep" craze wasn't good for me. That being said, I remember playing a 355cc driver for a LONG time, and it was a baseball bat easier to square up. I have high hopes... :)
