Just wondering what you can get if you do a gallery fitting. Is it retail stuff, limited releases, circle Ts? What kind of limitations are there on what you can get?

Never been there, nor do I know much about it however from what I've read on here it's pretty much anything as long as your willing to pay.

From what I understand, the fitting is pretty detailed. Totally up to the consumer to decide if it's worth the $$$.

As far as "what can you get" is concerned, you don't have to go through a fitting in order to be able to purchase items. It's a retail shop. Bring your checkbook and you can pretty much buy whatever they have for sale.

I did a fitting a few years ago. It was very cool and for me it was worth the money. My brother-in-law, how is not a golfer, went with me and he was very impressed with the whole process.

What putter did you get?

No putters. I pickup a few covers, a towel, and a couple shirts. I got my putters adjusted and a couple of grips installed, a purple CNC on my Studio Design 3.5 and White Matador, before they were released in the Custom Shop, on my SquareBack.

Someone linked my review which should just about cover it.

In a nutshell in the years since, I'd say they have tour putters they will fit you with, and I've found the fitters to be very solid. Joey was my fitter and is probably who I'd still recommend. The other fitters I do know are also very good, but I haven't been fit by them. Once fit, you can find stuff they have in stock, which range from the MOTO putters which are modified OTR putters - different paintfill, weights, grip, cover for $550, which I think are in line with OTR putters customized. I've had a few really solid players go get fit and leave with some really cool MOTO putters. Also a couple guys got 009's, just depends on what you want. They also have headcovers, clothes, all kinds of stuff really..

I think you're still capped at around 5 covers at a time. The levels of experiences vary, there are serious collectors who go in there expecting a lot and get "skunked" and are very sore after, and there are enthusiasts who go in there and meet Scotty and walk out with a very memorable experience that they never really "expected" to happen. There are also people that will camp out there for new releases to flip them on eBay, and are making an income off of his releases - which has been a whole different can of worms all together.

Spencer did my fitting and it was worth every penny. A great experience that you should not miss

That sounds awesome! I'm not doing a fitting but I'm going to swing by tomorrow and check the gallery out, it sounds amazing.

Had a fun trip to the gallery! I took my circle t with me, had it bent and got a lime green matador put on it. I also bought a jackpot johnny custom shop headcover. If you bring a circle t in with you you can buy the circle t head covers, I thought about getting one but they didn't have anything I liked enough to drop $350 on it ($1200 for some of the limited edition ones!)

They had a bunch of really cool circle ts in there for sale. When I was getting my putter regripped I asked about the fitting and was told it's not like you can get anything you want, it depends on what they make available out of the circle Ts and then you go from there. I do plan on picking up a circle T in the future from them, but I probably won't do the fitting, I'll just get a Newport head that I like out of the case and have them adjust it to my specs.

Also when I played bel air earlier in the week they had several circle Ts in their shop for sale too, so the gallery (and eBay) aren't the only way to get them, which was news to me although I'm sure some of you guys have visited (or are members at) some nice clubs that are selling them as well.
