It wasn't the sebum that was helping him putt, it was his height. Harman couldn't see the cup over the slopes in the greens. Is the USGA heightist?

 

As the OP so eloquently explained in another thread heightism is a form of bigotry. All greens will need to be rebuilt at Shinnecock to be perfectly level.

 

Or we can just implement a height minimum to compete. Would be much cheaper and would only affect people who never had a chance anyways (could you imagine a short person winning the US Open LOL). Disneyland does it, why not golf?

 

Could just borrow the same sort of measuring devices. Place one or two at the entries to the clubhouse and have the players stand under them to make sure they measure up. And, while they are measuring their height, they could also take skin oil samples to insure that the player doesn't have an advantage. Perhaps rub a little rubbing alcohol on their faces before letting them in. It's just a rough draft idea at this point but we MUST get ahead of this major issue.
