please tell me about it

... i see this shaft is getting some mention here.

how does it play? who is is best suited for? i've tried the proto 70, but i was so long ago i can barely remember. how does the x stack up against the s, i.e. i've heard his shaft plays very stiff? does it have decent feel/accuracy, etc.?

any particular heads it plays particularly well in?

i've always played 'x' in drivers (currently pro95), but am thinking about trying this one in an 's' as a less costly alternative to others.

If you like the Pro95 in X, then you will probably like the Tour 70 in S. It is quite a stout shaft. Not much kick/feel but if you want to get rid of high balls, then this shaft will do it. I tried this awhile ago and yes the ball ran out more on the ground, but overall distance was not much different and at the end of the day I was worn out.

DM is correct, I had a Vista Tour 70 X tipped 1" in my tour 510TP and it was almost too much for me to handle for a driver and I've got SE80 M5 in my BB 2004 4+ wood that I love. But as DM said if you like Pro95 in X, you probably can handle this VT70X.

That's how it should be when you loose 20 grams on the shaft's weight. But for some people they have less control out of shaft that is to light.
