Wow, those bring back memories. They look so much like the OG's. I would need to hit them but I am sure they are rock solid. I played those for several years, 3 wood and 7 wood. Last fairways I owned with steel shafts. Remember those days?

Is anyone else having trouble with the pics not loading? I see 5 small boxes in the post that read "Posted Image," but they don't pop up into a picture or when I click on it, it just sits there like it is trying to load.

Don't know, but if you look at the Callaway website the 4+ is a smaller head.

Doesn't say on the Callaway website in the specs section. But, I'd guess with the plus models being smaller that they would be more open face compared to the non plus models, kind of like the pro model vs the regular model in the X Hot series.

I'd agree with the above. My guess would be the + models might be more open, but i wouldn't count on them being as open as the TC heads.

I used to LOVE my Callaway Steelhead III 3-wood. Always reliable. Seems like a dinosaur club now with the uniflex steel shaft.

Those steelheads, best woods out there. I went through 2 drivers back in the day, they were hot too. Best combo steelhead with a og rifle shaft. Remember those hahaha

This will be mine! 4+ going in the bag unless it's closed and upright. That would be such a huge letdown like wesr posted.

Saw another review that said they set up square.

 

From Callaway, I heard that the + models, like the 4+, have less volume in cc's, are more neutral biased, and are a bit more weight forward - the better player's club

 

The normal models are to set up square, I have noticed that people are quick to judge or are wrong on this issue, and the regular heads are designed for people like me, normal Joe golfer. The rounded sole looks great for trouble situations.

 

Since I am not a 4+ type, I went Epic 5 wd for length and forgiveness, but will order the Steelhead 7...
