Randy-my only suggestion would be on the grips. There are so many choices that if you get a ways into it and want to go back to the Lamkin it takes a while. Maybe a drop down where they are all listed? Or perhaps I missed something?

Are there going to be face stamping options in the future?

 

I think it would be helpful if there was some way to see what the toe hang is with each hosel option.

Looks like lie angles can only be made +/- 2 degrees from standard. Is there a design reason for that? I try to get my putters bent to 74 degrees, which is typically 4 degrees upright from standard.

You are correct...

 

I betcha if you add a note they can get it a little more

 

* if you like to experiment, you could play it at 35 and 2 up and it will get you to 4 degrees compare to your putter now.

I ordered another Austin.

 

I think the options that show on the summary page, but which were not selected, relate to the garage stamp on the sole and the color of text fields that were not used (on the toe in my case).

This is a bit of a let down so far imo. I'm sure it'll improve but there really aren't as many options as I was thinking there would be. Like I said, though, I'm sure it'll be improved upon as it's only been a matter of hours.

Website is lagging hard on my end. Taking forever to change options. Overall I enjoy the look and feel and think the options currently are adequate. I would have really liked a mid mallet to throw a flow neck on.

Love all the options. Hosel options are seriously about everything possible given the semi custom format. Being able to pick alignment aid or naked is also a definite plus

 

iPhone optimization is seriously lacking. It's almost workable in landscape mode but borderline impossible in portrait orientation.

 

Also I see the sole plate options but can't see what the corresponding head weights are for each given sole plate.

Just another FYI for RandyCG - There's currently no way to specify extra wraps on the grip, although this is a listed option when you place the putter in your cart.

I hope they expand it a little more and this is just the launch version. I do think there are a lot of options but I was selfishly looking for more hosel options for the Austin, or at least ones that match the Madison and San Diego. I still think it is pretty cool what they are doing though so don't want to take that away from them.

Is there anyway to customize the shaft band for those of us that don't like to see the shaft band. Or are the shaft band being put on the back of the shaft?
