Don't know what I'm more impressed with, Lydia's ball-striking or how far PXG apparently moved the sweet spot toward the toe.

she's always played 3 hybrids, even with Callaway. Her former bag didn't even have a 5-iron and looked like this:

I saw somewhere that she has a 94mph club head speed with the driver, modern juiced up 4 irons probably come out too low and too low spinning for her to stop it.

I was being rhetorical at best..I have seen the ladies play and some were hitting hybrid on shorter par 3 holes. I get it. I guess I'm throwing a vote towards tradition.

I remember Ian Baker-Finch tried to "fix" his swing after he won the British Open and managed to totally destroy it.

 

Not 100% sure but wasn't Leadbetter trying to get her to adopt his "A swing" technique.

But only .05 shots per round higher than last year. Players have caught up/passed her. She hasn't improved as others have.

 

Wie has improved by 3 shots/round or 12 per 4 round event as compared to last year.

Yes, she got shorter and less accurate off the tee and iron play was indifferent; stats are going be worse due to poor driving. Though ger short game and putting got better along with her great mental game.

 

Now she changed again, i think her new swing is better though she is going to struggle in transition peroid like most players would, i think mental game is getting worse though.

I went to the local golf shop and seen a Rosemark grip "as used by Lydia Ko". I guess she ditched that putter grip?

Was it just me or did Lydia's bag have 14 clubs in it, not counting the putter? Make sure she removes one before the round.
