Seeing this thread is not good when I have been mulling over the purchase all day. Really enjoyed the flight. Struggled to draw them, however the baby fade was a beautiful little baby.

I just' don't think I am good enough to game these yet.

I'm gonna have to stick with my Zing 2's for the time-being.

go for it!!!! haha

Currently hitting MP5s and love them. Just got this i200 bug implanted in my head and cant decide if i'm going to act on it as a second set or not. Will probably hit a demo or something at the range today. Like i said, i absolutely love my Mizunos but have always been a Ping guy. Have been thinking of getting some iBlades or i200s. Ughhh I'm a horrible club ho. Might as well just get a second bag because that will spiral into a new crossover, glides and g400 driver and fairway. Guess i better start saving lol

If I didn't want to keep my wife it would be hard to imagine how many sets of clubs I would have.

Try the G400s, great looking and feel awesome. These are a great up grade from the Gs, IMO.

You are WRONG, you are good enough to game them! Get fitted and that will help a lot. I had the exact same feelings when I was on my way to go get fitted. I was/am a 18hcp, was fitted 1 month ago and have never played better. I shot my lowest round this past Sunday with an 81, shot 85, 86, and 84's playing 3 diff par 71/72 courses that I play in my area. They are worth it, but I think getting fit with the correct shafts helps, don't forget loft and lie adjustments.

I'm also a G25 player switching to i200's. today is day 6 of the 15 day delivery wait.

For me, the face was essentially as forgiving but the reduced offset made the 200s much easier to aim, much nicer to look at and far far less inclined to go OB left

After of course and in shop testing, I ordered them with S300 shafts. It is going to be a struggle waiting the next week and a half or so.

I went to the i200's from XHot Pros that I gamed for 4+ years. I had my i200's done with the power spec set up to be closer to that which I had with the Callaways. For me, yardages are very similar, ball flight is very similar (DG X100 in both) but the area of improvement is dispersion. The i200's are clearly better in that category.

The only so-called con of the clubs for me thus far has been the lack of forgiveness when you get the ball out on the toe a bit. Seems the club face on the i200's has some dead area out on the toe. Ball will still travel a fair distance and usually on strike line - merely the only drawback.

Just back from 9 days of golf in the UK, really pleased with the sticks. I considered going to the Srixon 765s, but went with the i200s at the time. I am intrigued by the recent release of the Callaway Epic Pro irons. I love the top line and minimal offset. Hate the look of the back of the club.

I did some pretty extensive testing with the i200's and there is no way they will kick my iE's out of the bag.

Have a set on order. Bought Srixon 565/765 combos with Modus 120X thinking Nippons would be smoother than C-tapers, started having elbow issues, but so far they seem to be even harder on my elbows. I just decided to go all in for graphite, and I've always wanted to try Pings, demoed the i200s extensively, was impressed. Won't be here though for a couple of weeks.

I went into my fitting wanting to try graphite and really wanting switch to graphite for similar reasons, but as soon as I started hitting balls with my clubs the fitter with Ping was like "no way you should go to graphite" because my ball flight and spin were so high and my current clubs were already X stiff.

That is my only real concern. I never got to hit the Pings with the Recoils 110 F5s that I ordered, but I did try a set of Miura blades with recoil proto 125 F4s, liked the shaft but the heads are a bit too much for me. Considered Steelfibers, did demo some non Pings with them, did not care for them. This is one reason I did order the power spec lofts though.

For what it's worth, the Maltby Playability Factor (MPF) number for the i200 is 474 (conventional), which is sub game improvement. But the MPF system does not replace experiencing them for yourself. I think some MPF numbers are dubious, personally.

Please let me know what you think of them. Like you, I don't have a way to hit the 110 F5 recoils before potentially buying them. None of the CF16 demos have them. I don't like the 95s and I would hope I liked the 110. Curious your thoughts.

I want the power spec lofts as well as I'd like more distance than my current gamers, i20s.

How many of you would consider the i200's to be more forgiving than the 716 AP2's? Or is it the other way around the AP2's are the more forgiving heads?

I wish Ping would use the simple and bullet proof finish from the circa i3+ Blade era. It wears like iron and a simple spa day brings them back too new. BB

I've got 5-PW i200s and a G 4 iron. Went with the Modus 105 S soft stepped twice. Very nice clubs and very consistent. I know others may be longer, but the consistency is what I really like.

did you have the loft adjusted all all on the 4 iron to maintain gapping? I'm thinking of replacing my i200 4 iron with something more giving (G400, Ap1, or maybe even vapor fly pro).

well said. I love the look of this pearl finish, it just doesn't hold up as well. The old school finish was awesome with wear over time.

The i200's kicked my old reliable i20's out of the bag. They are very nice. They are really not drastically better than the i20's, but they seem a little more forgiving and I do like the look of them a lot more which is important too me.

I really like some of the other offerings out there like the Callaway Apex, Srixon 565 and Mizuno JPX, but the jacked up lofts in those clubs just leave too many gaps at the bottom of my bag. I prefer the Ping more traditional lofts.

I hope to move to the i200 this fall. I too am coming from the i20s. Just have to figure out the shaft.
