I think this thread would have been better if it was done if he would have won the PGA. He would have four majors and would be a much better conversation. He has three but still a ways off.

As most know, Jack holds the most prestigious record in golf - 19 second place finishes in majors.

Jordan now has 3 runner-ups, while Jack only had 1 at the same age. Can anything stop Jordan from becoming the GOAT?

He might, he might not but here is how I see it.

 

When DJ, Rory, Jordan and Day all have their A game, it is pretty much a toss up. We forget how well we have seen the other 3 play. The thing with Jordan is he seems to get more out of his B/C game than the others do, I can't recall seeing someone who, while watching, looked like they shot a 75 but actually shot a 68, it's just weird.

 

That said, any of those 3 with their B games and the whole field is now in play. Tiger with his A game wasn't even close. Heck even his B game was good enough for some wins.

 

I just don't see it but if you told me 11 years ago Tiger would get only 1 more major I probably would have laughed so who knows.
