Completely agree.

 

Rory is the only thing that has come close to generating the same excitement for me but it's only the rare rounds where he's literally playing his A+ game. No one else is near as captivating.

I followed Tiger in Atlanta right after he turned pro, 1st or 2nd year. There is a short, uphill par 4 at TPC Sugarloaf a little over 300 yards.

 

I was standing directly behind Tiger when he unleashed the most vicious drive I had ever seen. It landed 10 feet from the hole and I was like :swoon:

Some people don't like the personality of a cheater, take my wife for instance. But he's awesome in my book.

It was fun to watch but the biggest thing that stuck out to me is the "honorable mentions" which showed some swings from his more recent play you could see the stark dropoff in speed.

Oh, come on! First off I don't hate him, I loved watching him play, and was mesmerized by his pure skill. BUT there are a lot of things about his behavior and personality that have NOTHING to do with race, that are pretty easy to dislike. I don't want to get into them here but they are well documented, and have been re-hashed waaaaay too many times.

 

Why does someone have to bring race into every subject for no reason? It's really annoying and it diminishes real racism the fight against real racism when it does occur. The thing people like you don't get is that by behaving in this way you are just hurting your own cause.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion, I have never really enjoyed how Rory plays the game. It's like he was given a gift but doesn't appreciate it.

Anybody know where you can find Tiger's consecutive eagles in the '05 Cog Hill event? I think he finished second to Vijay in that event, but there were tons of highlights during his round of 61.
