The hybrid reminds me of the ex9 tour at address. That's a great shape, however I was not a fan of the high pitched hollow sound of the ex9 tour hybrid.

That fairway looks an awful like the CB2 which is a great. If it's just an updated version it will be outstanding. The CB2 is the longest 3 wood I have hit ever.

Looks like they are moving away from the slipstream sole.

Thankfully! I'd hate to play that slipstream sole in wet conditions. You'd have to powerwash the sole of those clubs to get the mud out...

 

But this CBX looks good. If offered with the right shafts, I'm down to demo them!

Fairways look spectacular. Going back to the bread and butter. Still playing the CB4 and CB5, the square/open nature along with the turf interaction make them amazingly easy to play off of the fairway.

I hit the 13.5 three wood and the 16 hybrid yesterday. Both clubs had Hzrdus black shafts, the three the 75 and the hybrid the 85. The three wood looks great at address. Sits slightly open at address to my eye as does the hybrid. My numbers were off the chart with the three wood. My carry was 10 yards longer than with my gamer tour Issue M1 set to 13.7 degrees. The spin was in the 2700 to 2900 range. I could work it both ways. It's was great off the deck. Can't wait to try it off a tee. The hybrid I compared to an 818h2 in 17 degrees set to C1. The average carry of the CBX was 7 yds longer and the ball flight was very consistent. I didn't hook it all which has always been my issue with hybrids. I play my 816h1 at A1 because I like to see my hybrid shots just fall a little to the right. The CBX hybrid had this type of flight but I could still turn it over if I wanted to. I think both clubs will be going in the bag.

I was told by a store-person at 2ndswing or GG that the CB2 is the longest 3 wood on record, ever hit. or it had the most explosive face or something along those lines.
