Regarding the utility how is this M version different than this years regular yellow Hi-877? Looks like offset is less in the M other than the very obvious red color.

I would try one. $350 is a little pricey for a driving iron.

I like the hybrid. The irons look like the tour stryker training aid to me. I would try them.

I'd game those irons. How do they compare size wise to the rest of their irons line-up?

That is a thick top line. Overall, the shape of the irons is pleasing. Nice curves.

Our resident Fourteen rep said that the HI 877M is a tour only prototype that differs from the standard yellow version by offering tour players a version with an overall smaller profile head. Most likely will not be seen with retail availability.

Yes. The color is silly. Fourteen was supposed to offer black or grey color models for the US market. The yellow is popular in Japan. That said I happen to have 2 of the HI877S, , a 21 and 24 degree. They are outstanding performers. Explosive feel, and great turf interaction. Remember the Callaway X utility, that had a limited run a few years ago?

 

This tour only version is very similar. to the X utility..

It is just a color, don't obsess. Same was said about color balls, now you see orange, lime, green, red, bi-color, etc.
