Thank you for your service. Have often been responding/supporting @JB MDL esp. when it still mobed/demobed. When on base, usually on Doughboy or are there for events/activities.

 

Have also worked 18 w/ Johnny Vegas and Ruben. Caught them his rookie year for the FedEx Playoffs Barclays @Plainfield CC in Edison, NJ.

 

It was definitely a pleasure watching his game and how they play. He's always been tour long but its been a good road to watch him become straighter/ more consistent and a better short game/recovery.

 

He is nice guy, it was fun and memorable. Although conditions were tough and putts didn't fall they had the right attitude and game that foretold this ever successful career.

 

Thanks again for sharing your amazing experience in an entertaining story. It was a fun to refresh my memories/ experiences.

I hope they do! I seriously can't stop talking about it. As a golf fan the ONLY way it could be better is if a manufacturer wanted to give me a full fitting tour style. I would probably die from a stroke, but I would LOVE to do another write up. Apparently I did a decent job. Talked to Ruben today, and thanked me for the kind words - seriously these guys have a forever fan.

I recently traveled to Charlotte for the PGA Championship. I followed Rory through about 7-8 holes and he was truly a nice guy. Making time for fans and especially the kids. Seems like a great guy.

Yes we did, and we laughed quite a bit about it. And here was the best part - I started by saying something like, "I mean do they even understand how you got here? It isn't like you're some bum off the street; you're a 4 time major champion with (air quotes) 'few' wins under your belt". Rors laughed a bit and changed the subject to Speith - but what he said was approximately the same thing I said, but was confused on how an analyst wants to say he should change something when clearly it is working - and working very well.
