V-steel vs R7 TP 3 wood

I currently play 904f fairway woods...both the 13 and 17 degree. I am thinking about going to a 15 degree 3 wood instead. I really like the Titleist but would consider the R7. I had a V-steel and liked it alot but found it to be a little hollow feeling. If the 904 disappeared off the face of the earth I would have no problem going back to the v-steel. So, my question is how does the R7 TP fairway wood compare to the v-steel. Better, worse, no different. What do you like or dislike about it? Also, what about the stock Fuji Vista Pro shaft?

R7 TP FW are titanium and V-Steel is obviously steel. Therefore R7 would have higher trajectory than V-steel even if you change the setting with the movable weights. V-steel has more of a penetrating trajectory I think. I would personally prefer steel over titaniums in terms of FW IMO. I think V-steel is a better wood than the R7. It is definitely more solid than titanium R7. If you like the R7 woods try R7 steel. It would be similar to V-steel.

R7 TP fairway is one of the GREATEST 3wood i've ever hit in my life, no kidding,

r7 tp fwy produces a real nice, high trajectory and the vista pro 80 shaft is an awesome combination, but maybe heavier shaft would've been nice too,

anyhoo,

IMO, R7 FWY performs better, but like Tsukasa said, if you like the steel, try R7 STEEL, looks quite nice,

I have a 13* r7 tour titanium 3 wood and this thing is a frickin' canon! One of my friends has a retail T/S and I don't notice any difference with the only exception being mine is a bit heavier.

It all depends on what application you normally hit your 3 wood.

If you hit lots of 3 woods off the tee for control and accuracy......the r7 is for you. I've hit some nice towering, boring shots that outdrive some folks' drivers.

If you use a 3 wood from the fairway more, then I would consider something else.....The r7 works fine for me, but I rarely find myself using it......with the exception of long par 5's with little trouble around the greens. It is a better tee club IMO.
