What golf trips do you have coming up?

Heading back home to Columbus for labor day weekend to visit family... Playing Muirfield Village on Monday

 

Heading to Kiawah in October with my dad... playing 36 at the Ocean Course and a couple of other tracks.

 

I've got to figure out how to get on Muirfield one of these days.

A friend of mine is the assistant super at the country club and he has never even come close to an opportunity.

 

I'm headed to Wigwam in Phoenix in April.

It''s be my first week long golf trip so definitely looking forward to it.

Taking a once in a lifetime trip for me to Scotland next May. Playing Turnberry, Royal Troon, 36 at Muirfield, Carnoustie, Kingsbarn, and finishing up at St Andrews. Couldnt be more excited!

Just got back from Scotland so nothing for the rest of the year. Next year will do Kapalua in Maui and a few other Hawaiian courses, plus trying to work out a trip to go up and visit Isaacbm in the great white north to play some mountain golf and get out of the AZ summer heat for a weekend.

Ive been pretty fortunate with MV. I have played it a bunch of times (10-12). I caddied out there in college but ironically I only played it once or twice while caddying. Carrying 2 bags for 5 hours in the heat and turning around and walking 18 carrying my own bag didn't really appeal to me. I am just fortunate to know a couple of members who suggest playing it.

 

What's kind of funny is I grew up in Upper Arlington and lived there until last year. I know a ton of members and lived like 2 miles from the course but have only played Scioto 1 time and it was when I was in middle school lol. It just never really worked out.

In September, going to Coeur D'Alene, ID. Playing Circling Raven + Golf Club @ Coeur D'Alene Resort (with the infamous floating green).

 

If someone knows someone who (knows someone) who can get me on Gozzer Ranch, I would be eternally grateful!

I'm going to Coeur D'Alene in September as well (CDA Resort Course and Circling Raven). Bandon Dunes + Pumpkin Ridge currently scheduled for the first week of November.

7 of us just got back from the Gold Coast for a week. 6 rounds of golf, perfect at this time of year temperature wise.

 

Lakelands, Royal Pines, Hope Island, Sanctuary Cove, Palm Meadows and The Glades. All different challenges and booked in again for next year.

You have time for Streamsong? It's an hour east of Tampa, and an hour and 20 minutes south of Orlando. A bit out of the way, but well worth the drive.

Just got back from a fellas golf trip/tourney in the Sunset Beach, NC (just north of Myrtle Beach) area. Six rounds in four days makes for a tired, yet well rested husband and dad! LOL!

 

Next up is my group's end of year tourney held at the Grand National site of the RTJ Trail in late September.

If only playing in Abq I suggest Twin warriors, UNM South, or Cochiti. If you have the time take the 2.5hr drive north to Farmington and play Pinon Hills.

OK - Just got back from Scottsdale - WOW - talk about hot weather...110* when we got there and 108* + 106* after that. Got to play both WeKoPa courses and I wasn't disappointed. Perfect condition even with the ridiculous heat. Courses were empty (no surprise there) and loved every minute of it. Definitely a "must play" for anyone going to PHX.

Played Coeur D'Alene last year and it was wonderful. Perfect condition and a very interesting layout. The island green was 178 yards when I played it.

 

Good luck on Gozzer.....I couldn't get on.

Heading to the bay area in December. Mostly a family vacation with my wife, son, and mother in law but will sneak in a couple rounds. Pacific Grove is a for sure choice since it is right behind our rental and will probably play Harding Park during the few days we stay in San Fran.

I was there this May, the weather was great except for some brutal winds back nine of Carnoustie and all day at Kingsbarns. Did almost the same rotation except I also played Prestwick while down in the Southwest. I was a single when I played Muirfiled so skipped the lunch thing, no room in my luggage for a shirt and sport coat. Also, didn't know how the alternate shot in the afternoon would work out, who would I be paired with etc. I also played Royal Birkdale, Ballybunion and Lahinch on that trip.

 

Are you playing the Old Course in St. Andrews?

 

Leave in a couple days for Whistling Straights/Blackwolf Run for 6 rounds and finishing that trip by playing Erin Hills.

 

I've been fortunate to have played a handful of great courses over the years but never all in one year. I can't imagine having a better year of golf than 2017 will be for me.

Going to Destin Sept 6 for 8 days. 3 rounds of golf and 8 days of fishing. Might not sound like alot of golf but I've played 3 rounds this year including a scramble.

Going to CD in 2 weeks. Playing the resort course and Circling Raven. CR is a fantastic course - big, bold and nothing but wilderness. Still hoping for Gozzer Ranch...

I'm planning for a mid-December trip. I usually head to Texas, or along the Gulf coast. The weather can be a bit dicey, but I've yet to not play in 6 trips. 'Probably try the Destin and Panama City, FL area this year.

Going down to Myrtle Beach in November to visit Mom. She was volunteering at a fundraiser a couple months back, and won a free foursome on The Dunes. Will also play some others down there, not sure which ones yet. Always open to suggestions.

 

Going to Hawaii in December. Going to play Turtle Bay while we stay there for a couple days, then Poipu Bay, Puakea, and Kiahuna while we're on Kauai.
