well...I am not sure this is in the right spot in terms of shaft reviews, so feel free to move it

In my driver, I play the aldila 65 N shaft, but I am currently looking into other options...
980F= stock
adams idea= stock...but i am reshafting as soon as possible (too much flex)

Only one round under my belt and some limited (warm up ) range time.

Shaft is suprisingly (and pleasantly) firm in feel for a 3.5 torque shaft. You definitely sense the subtle "kick" that people talk about in the impact zone, but no feeling of a loss of control.

 

I may have tipped mine a bit much as I have not seen the huge distance gain people have been talking about. Tipped 5/8 inch...found this to be necessary with most shafts in the R7, but might have stiffened it up a hair too much.

 

Will keep going with it for a few more rounds before forming a definitive opionion. Likely this will stay in the bag.

I'm currently playing the Diamana 83 S and absolutely love it. It appears to have a higher ball flight than the Speeder 757, but it's one solid shaft.

That's the starting lineup. I'm experimenting with the following:

 

Driver: Nak 460cc w/MCC Apache MFS Matrix

Fairway: Cobra Comp 4+ with AccuFlex VS02

16° Hybrid: UST IROD

 

I hate hitting FW woods off the fairway, so I'm trying to get the 16 to play longer and am going from steel to graphite.
