2017 Callaway X Forged (2018 Spotted Pics)

These irons look amazing, cavity is almost the same as the X-Forged with just a few modern, minor changes. Looking forward to hearing if they're one piece forging or there is some tech built in them, the head kinda reminds me of the Epic Pro shape wise, I'm liking the few pic's that we have.

They look good so far to me. I was looking at a possible change to the TM 750. These as of now I like better. Just by pictures. I have to seen the 750's in person either.

Haven't really thought bout irons as I've been playing Cobra's S3 Pro series and King Cobra Pro Mb's for last say 6-8 years, but 2018 looks like I may have to at least demo a few sets of different OEM's this next season and Cally is now on my list of gotta try these.....

They don't at all. True players iron vs GI iron trying to look less GI. These will have true lofts, fly shorter, and spin more than the 790. Not even the same category.

I hope they play similar to the JPX 900 Forged or MP18 MMC. Players Iron that slightly higher handicappers can use. They look larger than the Apex Pros and have a nice cavity built into them so its possible they can have some forgiveness built in. Anything in the ballpark of what I'm gaming now would work for me.

Blade length looks a little long, but I like the overall design. Nice top line....

 

Looks real similar to the RBZ Tour irons. If that's the case in person, then they can sign me up now

I feel the same... kinda meh. I'll wait to see them in person to make a final judgement but based on the pics the 2013 look better.

Wow. I like these. If they have the same feel as my '13 x forged. Put me down for a set. They're getting pretty worn As for the haters if your hitting the ball with back of the club you might wanna try tennis. Cause you would be missing out Hope they offer premium shafts.

I wonder if the lofts will be that strong when they are released in the US. That would be a big change from the 2013 model.

 

I still don't think they will be as large as the 790. TM used the lines of the club to somewhat hide the size but the 790 is very large when compared side by side with an AP 2 or CB which is the category I would have put the previous x forged in.

If they are like any other new iron release they almost always look much better in person than the pics on a website. I kind of like them.

It's interesting that these haven't been out on tour for a while. Makes me think they were aimed more at just a retail release than targeted towards the tour players. With how many guys are still playing the 2013 X Forged, I would have thought they would have switched over already if they were great...

You will probably see people switching after the tour championship.
