I am also curious....is this a set I could rotate with small blades or will

It look just to chunky? Also is toe more Squarish or rounded....Thx

you cud yes, they are forgiving , but not like a set of massive shovels.

I was playing the honma tw Mb and the 6 iorn of these in my game and didn't really have any issues going between the 2.

these do hit the ball very high and land super featherlike.

they were a good club but ultimately the prgrs won out I liked the smaller thinner sole and topline and softer feel of the prgrs but I will stand by and say these ar ethebst clubs ive seen them put out in a while

if u have one set and that's it, , hell yea these wud be great.

as a seamless transition from Mbs to Cbs I think theres more suited options, but u wont be disappointed 1 bit with these.

really liked these

owari !

Mine will be here in a few days time. Gonna install the modus 125 into these. Can't wait!!!

Would love to hear your thoughts when you hit them.

Hit them for the first time in the course yesterday. All i can say is this combo is GREAT! Only complain i can think if is that the topline is bit too thick for my liking. Oh! n the modus 125 is heavy. Really really good shaft but heavy.....

The CB1008 is really forgiving for my swing n the feel is just sweet. soft yet dense. Highly recommend it!

Top line is thick? Wow really? Doesn't look anymore thicker than the CB 57.

Post some pics!!

Was comparing the top line to the baby blades that I played. Lol

Been playing this regularly for the past few weeks and I strongly stand by what I said. It's really really forgiving by miura's standard. Tried it against the tmb(which is the most forgiving set I have) and I dun think it's any less forgiving.

Removed the black paint on the matte grey area(the circle part) and loved it. Looks so clean!

Guys, u can order with less offset. Almost anything is customizable as long as u r willing to wait. But personally I didn't think the offset was that bad and I came from playing baby blades.

Wait, you can get these with zero offset and a square toe? Please say no!!

Are these the JDM version of the 57's? Do they have the same leading edge grind as the 57's?

Just put these in play with a c-taper 125 S+. Pure heaven!! They feel more like a blade yet forgiving and buttery soft. I'll be playing these until the grooves are completely worn out a la Bernhard Langer with his Hogan irons back in the day.

Did you get a custom grind done or are these stock?

What did you end up shafting your 57s with?

Always Changing!!!

How's that working out for you? I'm looking to build either the CB57 or CB 1008.

I'm actually loving the cb's. I thought I would be a blade guy forever, but the cb's play similar to a blade with a perfect profile.

The CB 1008 looks interesting as well. I also would love to see a cb and 1008 head side by side at address. The 1008 looks to have a thicker top-line with a rounder toe.

Has anyone compared these to the CB57s?

Not worth comparing. The 1008 has the typical Japan influenced toe. Same ordeal with most of their Miura Giken stuff.

The cb 57 and MB 001 have the shapes to appeal to the North American golfer, but outside of that not sure what or how the MG line will survive in NA.

I just took delivery on a full set of 1008's from Chip Usher. Great irons, I also have a set of 501's

Both irons feel great, the 501's can dig a bit on soft fairways, but the 1008's with the turned down edge really work great on soft fairways.

The irons are long, I feel like I am getting a extra 10 yards on every iron, but I am still in the honeymoon period so give me a couple rounds.

Thinking of ordering a custom set from TSG, the options they offer are impressive. I'll get the reduced offset, sharper toe, thinner topline, v sole grind, and copper underlay satin finish. Wondering how they compare to the cb57's in terms of feel, forgiveness, and size.

I had a custom set made a while ago and quite frankly the mg 1008 was the worst Miura iron I have ever play and I love the brand. To see hem now marketing them as "new" also seems pretty lazy.

Can you elaborate on what made them the worst?

Not sure if you Miura lovers have seen the newly released CB 1008 from Miura Giken. Man, maybe i should have waited and got these instead of my Yoro MP 5s....

I love the lines of this iron. The look is just classic and simple.

These are my FAVORITE Miura model! Very forgiving and the feel is soft as can be.

I played the bridgestone j40cb's for two seasons and the miura's this past season. J40's were shafted up with modus 125's and the miura with shimada tours. Flushed shots on both clubs felt the same, ball flight was also similar. My misses are slight toe hits and the bridgestones were slightly better in the forgiveness department. Both sets are top notch.
