I didn't like the LC4's until I saw them in person so I'm trying to withhold judgement until I see them but I actually don't completely hate them. I agree they look better from far away though.

I love the white on white Brooks model, and I do like not love the Casey model...either way these are going to be REAL COMFY...

I want some Flyknit Racer style shoes. :)

 

Those are coming in 2018. Probably the same TPU upper used on the flynit Chukka.

Apparently the Roger Dunn store in California that had these on the shelf was forced to pull them today from Nike. I called them to try and order and they said they had to pull them until October 28.

I got a black pair of LCV's with ebates and 20% off too. I want the grey but don't have anything to match the pink with. I also want the blue except for the white sole and bow tie. I actually don't mind the black yellow version.

If I remember correctly you're a Hawks fan.....you don't want to miss the black/yellow version. Matches the Hawkeye varsity maize/goldenrod almost perfectly.

I had this same problem when I had a pair of TW14s made by NikeiD in UofM colors. They were awesome, but I didn't have anything to wear with them. I own 1 yellow shirt and 1 pair of navy shorts. It's the biggest reason I just stick to white or black shoes now.

In the summer months, yeah I don't have anything to wear with them either since I'm not a huge fan of black shoes with shorts, but I wore them with a pair of wolf grey pants, a white Iowa polo with black logos (Tigerhawk and swish), and then a black/yellow Iowa hat for a tailgating tourney and it actually worked quite well. I could see them going great with Anthracite colored pants for fall rounds too. Basically I just wear them as an accessory with Iowa stuff, but otherwise, yeah kind of dead in the water with things to wear them with too.

I could wear the FI shoes in that colorway more during game days or something as the spikes aren't nearly as aggressive.

 

And to go with above, I also just have black and white versions of the LCV now too.
