Slotline Inertial High Moment Putter

On a whim, picked this putter up on eBay for $20 shipped. It intrigued me. Let me say, took it to the putting green today and was surprised how stable it feels through the stroke. I was making quite a few putts and my misses weren't that bad. I'm guessing that each end is weighted with tungsten or lead? It has a fluted shaft and the original Slotline pistol is in great shape. Nice old school head cover as well.

 

The putter is in great shape for it's age and has a real nice looking patina to it. I posted a few pics.

 

Do any folks here have a Slotline's in their putter collections?

I have one of the 2009 models and it's a solid putter. It's money on short putts, but I'm working out issues from long distance.

Have not used mine in years. But it is still in the collection. This putter was way ahead of its time IMO.

I agree. Very stable feeling through the stroke.

 

I wish there was more information out there on the older models.

The ones I've seen like this are painted black and have yellow alignment lines. They were from the mid 1980's. I'd guess yours is from the same time frame, but I don't remember the copper ones. Looks like the alignment lines were filled in. Enjoy!

I have one I bought in 1986. Still use it today and just can’t seem to give it up. Have others I won like an Odysey but just can’t break away from how good this thing is.
