Which putters can be bent to 60* lie angle without breaking

Hey Guys!

I play a real low lie angle at around 60*. Tried a cure putter but didn't really like so went to Roger Dunn and putter guy says most putters would break if bent from stock 70* but some certain metals can be bent but wasn't able to help me beyond that. Also gave me an earful how I'm putting wrong ya ya ya buddy...I'm a scratch player and putting is my strength but tired of playing a putter that really doesn't fit!

Can some of you putter gurus please help a guy out and educate me about which putters or metal types I could bend about 10* without breaking?!?!

Also I play a SeeMore Giant and like it....I had shop bend as far as they dare to about 67* as worried shaft would snap at head but can the shaft itself be bent above the head if heated up?

Thanks!

Can't figure how to like my own posts

Your best bet is with a good quality putter with a plumber's neck (good forged steel or 303/304 SS are your best bets). And if the guy starts putting a torch to it to "soften up the metal", find someone else. Bending should be done cold. Clubs with stems or shaft going straight into the head are going to be the hardest to bend as you just can't predict when they will snap.

Ping G400 9º TFC 419 Stiff at 45" (soon to be mothballed)

Rogue 3iron Recoil 660 F3 +1/2"
X2 Hot 4-AW Recoil 660 F3 +1/2"

Don't use heat to bend 10-12 degrees? Hum. We usually agree in most posts. Not this time guess.

If I'm Trying to go more than 4 degrees I'm definitely using some heat.....and potentially expecting breakage no matter what.

So took putter to a machine shop for their opinion.... Guy accidentally pulls the shaft out the putter head haha. So we discuss and I just end up dremeling the hole bigger and flatter and JB weld the shaft in way flatter...done! The tricky part where I got really lucky was getting the shaft parallel to face and I stupidly used the quick drying weld and was it was friggin drying before I had shaft in there so I had to jam it in really hard but worked out parallel somehow haha... but dont be afraid to dremel if looking for a flat putter

Well Mr. Aoki, it took you long enough to alter your putter.

You can probably get a Bullseye to bend that much. Brass is pretty malleable. And they are cheap so if it breaks it's no great loss.

I’m 64-66 and I can bend any 303 or carbon pretty easy to 64. Mann. Byron. Scotty. Even odyssey black or mxm are very east. Stay away from anything cast.
