I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of how they look in my bag. I know that would probably be a hassle of a photo for you to take so feel free to just ship the stix over and I'll snap it for you. ;)

I wonder if they will have those different Tour sets like earlier X-forged ie.... 2Dot, 4Dot, H, and L. It seems the Tour players get all those choices, wonder if they are already being used now on different Tours.

 

How are the 2Dot and 4Dot different than retail? I would think the other two are for heavy and light.

 

2Dot and 4Dot had different sole grinds if I remember correctly. And yes H was heavy and L light

These are some sweet looking irons, but I'm going to have to say it. Maybe it's been mentioned, but I didn't see it. The latest forged irons from Taylormade and these remind me of Tourstage irons from 8-10 years ago. The cavity designs, that is. Not hating on either just my observation. I guess that's why they are so appealing.

Understood. I was being sincere, though. I have the exact set up in my Apex Pro 16s (with TI x100) and believe they are absolutely the best irons I've ever owned. My only complaint is aesthetic - I'm not crazy about the shape at address or the chrome. These new X- Forged seem to address both of those issues. I'm jealous you beat me to them!!

Got to see these in person today, very nice. The Callaway rep. also had the MB with him which are stunning, he had both the chrome version and the raw version which Rory was using, both versions coming to retail were his exact words to me.

Just put the 09 X forged back into the bag. Still for me the best iron ever made. Tried switching to the XR Pro and I hate them. Can't wait to give these a try.

Owning a set of X Forged 13, can say the X Forged 18 is quite a bit more forgiving. will be a combo set for me for sure-- X Forged UT 4, X Forged 18 5-6, Apex MB 18 7-pw

Saw them in person today. Set the 7 iron down and immediately noticed that it is larger overall than the Apex Pro '16 I currently play. I'd venture to say it's a bit larger than the Epic Pro as well. Not sure how I feel about that but still looking forward to hitting them.

The larger size actually would not surprise me as many of the X-Forged irons were larger especially in blade length like the RAZR.

Not a big deal either way. Was just a little surprised at the suggestion that they are bigger than the Epic Pro (i.e. Phil's 4 iron).
