Another poster here also has the bb 1-iron! Astounding! That's not a butter knife, it's a (struggling for a metaphor here - 'thong bikini' keeps coming to mind)

Definitely don't game one, but would love to see some pics when you get, preferably with a ball at address if possible?

Here you go....the one on the bench is obviously a BB 1 iron and the one with the ball on the floor is a BB 2 iron....Both are kind of like trying to hit it with the small end of a pool cue :taunt:

Not trying to offend anyone and I don't mean this in a negative way but other than bragging rights, what's the point of a club like this in today's golf game?

I am not a blade zealot and play both blades and gi depending on my mood. I have both a bb and a titleist t-mb 3 iron with no great bias toward either.

I frankly hit the bb 3 iron better. Perhaps because I know it's hard to hit and because I intend to hit very low line drives with it but regardless I end up longer with it off the tee, on more greens from the fairway and under this branches from the rough.

Not saying I would game the 2 iron, but if you are an experienced golfer, the Baby Blade heads overall are not that difficult to hit.

Once you get over the mental difference, you'd be surprised how your brain dials in over a few sessions. It is far easier for me to hit this compact club in the middle than it would be a longer toe to heel club. I can hit the 4 iron. And these clubs sound and feel different, like you really ripped it. Love to try that 2!

When the topline and leading edge comparison is a lot thinner/smaller than than the width of of the hosel......it's eff'ing scary, and you better be able to find the center of the face often lol.

I'd love to play 1 round with these just see how it is. I'm sure through 1/2 the round I'd regret it. BUT, if I could play these like I play my AP2's then it'd be a no brainer, but I'm a realist and know that'd never happen, but a guy can dream lol.

If you are that interested, start with a set of 7-P and see what you can handle.

Thats tiny and a bit intimidating lol.

But I imagine the black headed version would appear to be just a bit smaller visually. To me at least it seems black head irons give a slightly smaller look address, maybe not but it for me it seems to work that way.

I would agree, I find that the black finish gives the head an appearance of being smaller. I have a set of black ox 57s and a set of chrome ones. I strongly prefer the smaller look of the black ones.

Can we get pics of those? I've seen all your BB but not your CB-57.

I just went predominantly CB-57 (6-8, and maybe the 9 to follow), for the first time. Outside the CB-57 6 Iron, none of my set had seen action, always predominantly Baby Blade.

Enjoyed the first session!

My Baby Blade 3 Iron was 20° ....

Gotta imagine the 2 Iron is 17° ...

Better question, what is the 1 Iron??? 14°???

Loft progression between the 1, 2 and 3-irons is usually only 2 degrees, so most likely the 1 and 2-irons are 16 and 18 degrees.

beceause,

I find by changing the angles of attack By striking the ball 1anda half grooves up or down and 2/3 mm letf or right of center I can control the ball flight to my desired requirements to achive optimal results coupled with today's balls , a more tour like performance is readily achievable on a daily basis.

owari !

If you practice a bit you can hit different types of shots with them. Not everyone wants max forgiveness.

They are great for escaping under tree branches.

Mr. Miura used to do a bit of custom work ... 1 and 2 Irons we're apart of that program .... It's been rumored that Mr. Miura was retiring and turning over the Brand to his sons. Plus on top of that, the Baby Blades production seems to have finally come to completion.

The only way, to obtain a Baby Blade 1 or 2 Iron, at this point, would be to wait it out on eBay or find someone that may have a spare (... Or two), but tryin prying it out of their hands ... My reason for saying, "Good luck!"
