Launch Monitor Rasises Questions

Need help guys

I had an opportunity to be checked on a Vector Launch Monitor yesterday. To be honest the guy is a much better teaching pro than club fitter so I have some questions.

I am a 10 hdcp and have a fairly fast swing.

Here is the the data, a 10 shot average with each club using range balls.

Mizuno MP001 400cc 10 degree w/ Graf Blue stiff
Ball Speed 150.2
Launch Angle 12.1
Back Spin 3702 (side spin not an issue)
Carry Distance 245 yards

Mizuno MP001 400cc 9 degree w/ NV65 stiff
Ball Speed 152
Launch Angle 12.0
Back Spin 2800 (side spin still no issue)
Carry Distance 266
Efficiency Rating 86.2

1. What does the eficiency rating mean to me?

2. While there was significant improvement with the NV shaft, is there still room for improvement and could anyone make any shaft recommendations?

3. Should the shafts in fairway woods be the same as for the driver. Would I get better results by going with the NV in the FW also?

1. it's just a ratio of swingspeed and ballspeed.. higher is better obviously.. I like smash factor better personally.. which is ballspeed divided by swingspeed. 1.5 is said to be optimal.

2. The missing factor is all this is your swingspeed, but looking at the number I'm guess around 103-105. The number off the NV shafted driver are pretty good actually. The spin is killing your distance with the 1st club.

3. That's up to you... somepeople like to play the same others dont... some ppl like heavier shafts in the fairway woods ( I am one of them)..

i think what you have found is that a more active tip and softer flex is needed.. the blue and nv are pretty different shafts and clearly the nv-65 is working nice for your swing.. 10* loft with the nv 65 would be a good fit-- just a tad higher launch and you could get even more yrds.. lighter shaft in the 3wd if you need help getting a higher ball flight or just getting moe distance--- again it is a feel thing. usually a heavier shaft in the fwy woods is best.. the driver is longer and a lighter is best so you can swing it fatser..
