Would be great to see him win. I remember sitting behind him on the range at the 11' USOpen at Congressional. He was a Amateur and I said to the other workers. Remember his name.

 

He has had a run of bad luck. Hope this is the beginning of where he left off.

Does anyone know the length at which he plays his driver? It looked a little shorter on today's coverage, but I supposed that could have just been a camera angle thing.

Prob 44.5. Playing the whippy Diamana blue, he wont go far on golfwrx

Couldn't tell if he was just in the zone, or has resting b**** face. Either way, good for him finishing 2nd. He probably could have won it, but that bunker game certainly needs work with respect to other tour pros. Young guy though, plenty of time for improvement and I'm sure he will be finishing high up on many more tourney's.

Looks like resting b**** face is just his face. Couldnt even smile at Hadwin when he shook his hand after his win. Young pup just won 680k, ud think he would smile at least

Well, considering he's probably got the family golf thing going on, he might have never had "fun" playing golf the way most of us do (country club member at age 7??? come on). It was just something he did, a way of life. It'd be like smiling when your boss hands you your normal weekly paycheck. Sure it's nice, but it's something you expect and nothing to get excited about.

 

Also, who knows how seeing his friend die affected him. That can really mess a person up to the core, despite going on with life. He could also just kind of be a jerk... I've never seen him until this weekend, I don't really pay attention to amateur golf. Now that he's in the spotlight and hopefully continuing to do well, we will certainly find out I think.
