I'm sure they're great wedges, but something about them just looks off. Maybe it's the shape.

Cheaper than cast Vokeys, too. I'd rather support a company like Bridgestone, personally.

Kind of looks like a spin off the old J33's. Not just the middle section but the longer hosel as well. I played the J33 blades for a season and the hosel was so much longer than say the Titleist 681's or the TM Rac mb's of that time period. Personally when it comes to wedges I still can'tfind anything I personally play better than the Titleist Vokey 250 series. Good thing I have many back ups.

You know what you are right, they do kinda look like the J33 Forged Wedges. I had a set in Black Oxide and I really liked them.

I would def cop these if I wasn't so in love with MD2TG's and I already have a new Black Oxide backup set .....

Bought a J15 56* (Black) off ebay last year to try it out. Bought it new for $59. One of the best wedges I've played. sold my Vokeys. Put a s400 in it. found out that the spinner wasn't so bad after all. A little soft on full shots. I go through about 3 wedges a year. Bridgestone is very good product!

Wow they look relatively nice but with no lefty options AGAIN I hereby announce my boycott of Bridgestone golf equipment all together.
It appears from the Bridgestone 2018 catalog there will be an iron set (JGR HF2) and a bonded driver/3W (JGR) in lefty. Page 11/12 in the catalog below.

I like the JGR HF2 iron. They’ve been out in Japan along with the HF1. I’m hoping the HF2 comes to the U.S.

Bridgestone is really really good at making fantastic golf equipment and really really bad at making lots of people want to buy it.

    Fair?

That said, I could definitely see a set of those black wedges in my bag.

I wanted to try a 58/8 but only see a 58/12 on the U.S. website. Can’t believe they aren’t offering a lower bounce option in the 58.
