In the past few months, I have owned:

Scotty Circa 62 #2

Scotty Studio Select 2.6

Scotty TeI3 Newport

Scotty Mil Spec 340g

Scotty TeI3 Newport 2 Long Neck

Scotty Original Oil Can Newport

Scotty AOP Santa Fe

Scotty Inspired by Sergio

Currently, I am only down to the Mil Spec and Sergio. Looking to get rid of them also as I am looking to find a boutique putter that matches my eye.

8 total that I can think of from my desk. I think this is right...although maybe I'm forgetting about one or two...

Currently in the bag: Ping Scottsdale Shea has been in the bag all year.

Previously in the bag:

- Bettinardi Mercedes-Benz promotional putter

- Nike Method Midnight

- Odyssey Sabertooth

Own but never played, picked up via trade, gifting, etc:

- Scotty Cameron Newport 2 - planned to play this one this year but the Ping got hot and has stayed all year

- Some 2015/2016 Odyssey blade style

- Nike Method Converge

- LH Nike Method Matter

  • 2 months later...

I was never really one for holding onto putters. I'd always sell/trade my old stick for whatever was the flavor of the month. Recently though I've developed a little collection without even realizing it. I now have 6 putters in my tiny 600 sq ft NYC apartment. Who else hoards flatsticks? List your arsenal from oldest > newest in terms of when you got them.

Scotty Cameron Circa '62 #6

Ping Redwood Anser

Odyssey Works 2-Ball

Odyssey Works #9

Odyssey Black Series Tour Design #9

Scotty Cameron 2013 California Del Mar - just picked this up used. About to send it out for a fresh finish.

I'm now up to 9. In addition to the 6 I list above, I've added a TM DJ Spider, Scotty Studio Stainless Newport Beach, and as of 5 minutes ago, a Scotty 33"/350g Mil-Spec. I have a problem....

TM Sim2 Max 10.5º | AD-DI 6x

TM M5 3w | AD-DI 7x

TM Sim2 19º Hybrid | AD-DI 8s

Callaway X Forged CB | KBS C-Taper Lite S

Vokey Raw SM8 50.12 F-Grind

Vokey Raw SM8 54.10 S-Grind

Vokey Raw SM8 58.14 K-Grind

Byron Morgan Carbon DH89 350g | Scotty Mil-Spec 33”/350g

I really thought I was doing good on thinning the herd until yesterday. I gave away a workbench from my home shop and it was fairly well-buried. In order to get it out, I had to basically empty my garage onto my driveway. I figured it was a good time to see just how many odds and ends I had accumulated. OMG!

Just one of the staff bags has at least 25 heel-shafted blades. It was sitting next to a mallet bag that has no less than 12 Zebras, a few Ray Cooks and a selection of Odyssey mallets that makes me blush.

I didn't get a picture of my driveway, looking out from my half-empty garage, but it would have been priceless/embarrassing. I look like one of those people from "Hoarders", the TV show, with golf clubs as my thing.

Let me get some pix and share my addiction. Maybe by seeing them all in a group of pictures will make something click in my brain and I'll reverse the cycle of accumulation and start shipping them out.

Heck, if I just took a picture of my bench here at the Mann Kave, you'd all bust out laughing at me. Maybe that would help.........keep an eye on Instagram, LMAO!

Hmmm... Now I don't feel so bad wanting to get more putters. Currently have 6.

Scotty 2012 Golo 5

Bettinardi 2013 Kuchar Model 2

Scotty 2016 Futura X5

Scotty 2016 NewportM1

Scotty 2016 Select Newport

Scotty 2008 Select Newport 2 Buttonback

Scotty 2012 Select Newport 2 Notchback (Sold that one a while back then got another one and sold it again. HAHA).

Taylormade Spider Tour Black, Also sold. Wasn't for me. short putts were great, but long ones didn't bode well.

Planning to pick up 3 older putters (Scotty Studio Stainless Newport, Tei3 Newport, and Studio Style Newport) and having them refinished. Just looking for the right price for the heavier models. (350g). If anyone selling, let me know, 33inch 350G preferred. :)

I'd love to get a Byron Morgan too, and of course a Lamb putter, but that's probably not for a long time.

Monogamy may be overrated when it comes to beautiful putters.

Those soft curves get me every time.

Nothing to be ashamed about :)

Hmmmm I dunno, I think I’ve become a bit of a joke at this stage. FWIW, my hoing has been much better since around October. I think I’ve “only” purchased and sold on 5 putters since then.
