I'm due for a new set of wedges, I'm excited to try the second generation. Curious to see if the honeycomb face on the wedge has any impact on spin

That would be a negative. The groove themselves don't even have much impact on spin assuming there is no debris in between the ball and the face.

Liking the matte finish on the BB line. Are the stock grips oversized? They look a little bigger in the pictures...

I was set on picking up a Studio Stock #8 but will wait for the BB29 to come out and compare the two.

Absolutely loving the look of the 29. Not crazy about the paintfill or grip color but those can be changed easily enough. Can't wait to roll these.

Really like what they did with the entire line up this year. I like the colors they went with. Everything looks clean. Is that a honeycomb milling on the wedges?Hard to tell for sure in the picture. If so I might have to give those a try very cool look.

Im sure I will. Really like the 3.0, had my best putting year in 2017 with the 3.0, so she will not be easy to replace!

 

EDIT: Just notified putter is on its way, will be to me tomorrow. I ordered it last Friday at 430pm EST. Nice work Bettinardi!

Putter arrived. Nice looking stick. Carpet rolled last night. Sets up to the ball different than the 3.0. My hands are farther fwd with the 5.0. Not sure if i like that. Im real comfy with the 3.0. Hmmm

Hi. Both have same loft. I do not know why they sat so different. It was weird. I ended up moving the 5.0 because of that.

Played with a guy last week that was rolling an Inovai. Was really rolling it well and so I tried it out. Has a really nice feel and sets up well at address. Probably one of the best mallets Bettinardi has ever put out.
