No, alignment line is only on the logo side. The other side has no line or lower logo, just a horizontal logo at the butt cap.

Love that they come in a reduced taper. I play the JR spec grips on my wedges but prefer full cord grips for my irons and haven't found anything that works for me. Now I have something!

 

Also saw that there's a reduced taper counterbalanced grip! Might have to give those a try too!

How similar are these to the tour black cord?

 

Personally I like the tour black as I’m currently using them but they are not very tacky once used and are not much fun now it’s cold

 

I like these grips because they are firm and wear well. Not tacky enough for me though , I like the UTX but it wears out fast

 

May go to the 3gen ace they are good grips too

These grips in std size are .600. Std + are .580.

 

Most grips have gone to .600 to reduce cost and most std shafts are now .600 butt size.

 

GP and Lamkin still make .580 due to their history of making this size and feedback from customers. Durability is prob better too. Nice thing about .580 grips are you only have to add a couple wraps to get a grip close to midsize.

Not really, the tour taper(plus version) is prob closer to 2 extra wraps under low hand. More similar to a slightly built up GP BCT cord. Firmer grip overall.

 

I think there new Z5 tour taper is closer to the mcc+4 line.

.580 grips on a .600 shaft has been "standard" for a long time, close to 20 years.

I'm wondering the same thing. I love the feel of the Crossline but think it looks hideous. I used Z-cords this year and while I love them, they are small feeling and I was going to build them up like a +4 this offseason but I may go with this new Lamkin as long as it's not one of their cords that wear out as soon as you look at it.
