Tige testing TM M3

It was discussed at the TM sales meeting that Tiger saw any between 4-6 mph increase in ball speed with the new face technology with the M3 over his 2016 M2

 

Getting more excited about these two drivers by the day. Can't wait to test one this spring. Both look great IMO.

I’m not interested if anybody’s seeing a faster ball speed , there could be a different cause

 

I’d be interested to see if the club gives more than 1.5 smash , otherwise it’s BS claims

This code worked for almost every video game in the 90s. It was cheat code I used everyday to unlock every level of Sonic the Headhog when I was 4 years old

I always base my purchases on the visuals of the one part of the club I never see while using it.

 

First and foremost a club must look good to me at address. The sole could be the ugliest thing ever but if the crown looks good then I’ll give it a shot. Otherwise I just can’t get comfortable over the ball. Second most important is the shaft.

Looks cool. Weight track I feel isn't a new idea, as the new PXG stuff seems to be doing this with their weight screws (meaning, 2 sets of rearward weight, split apart on both sides.) I'm guessing though that would result in a really spinny flight, as when I put both weights all the way back with my old M1, that's pretty much what happened.

 

people were doing that with the Callaway GBB sliding weight track 2 years ago....

Nope. Not a fan of the Y track personally. I don’t see the weight moving to the toe or heel that far back causing a draw or fade bias. And even if it does, you can only set to play high draw and fades? Seems to contradict the M1 weight track placement, no? More interested in M4 to be honest

considering most of your bag is M2...i'd agree with you -- i probably wouldn't have fit you towards m3 myself.

Or TM may be saying that he is seeing +4-6 mph ball speed just on his mishits. Out of the middle vs. his '16 M2 it's not happening.
