The kit shall consist of

1 Purple Velour Bag

2 Circle T Dice

1 3% off coupon for the Custom Shop

2 Blemished Custom Shop Shaft Labels

1 Plane ticket to California

You put one of your most prized possessions in the purple bag. Get on a plane to Cali. Find your way to the galleria...knock on the blood filled door. A man will appear thru a peep hole and you say, Dilly-Dilly. He lets you in. Hopefully you have brought the dice. You roll the dice on something like a small craps table. If you roll a 9, you then can see Scotty. Any other roll, you leave the bag with your prized possession inside and Scotty will review it. Upon inspection, he may let you in or he may not.

Assuming you make it inside, Scotty will greet you and watch you roll a few putts. Once he determines your self worth, he will ask you to place the blemished labels on fake scottys that have come in for COAs. If you succeed, he then gives you carte blanche at one of the fake scottys you just identified. Yours to keep, if you are willing to part with your prized possession in the purple velour bag. Upon exit of the galleria...be sure to use that 3 percent off coupon in the custom shop gift store and have a nice day.

Very surprised so many people are liking this over last year.

Last year's was perfect. Camo is super "in" right now in the fashion world. I love all my camo gear. But this...eh. I don't like any of it. It's like they did a collaboration with the 2017 M line of TaylorMade drivers and fairway woods. The colors are the exact same. This head cover would match perfectly with the woods head covers.

Edit: Even though I don't like this nearly as much as last year...I still purchased it anyway. I mean, the main perk here is having the option to buy all the head covers throughout the years. The only thing I want/will use out of the welcome kit is the ball marker. I like it.

Bags are already up on eBay for the low buy it now price of $299

But...but...why?!

Anyone can purchase it directly from Scotty Cameron for $99. Plus you get so much more on top of that. it's not like the memberships are sold out. There's literally not a single reason someone would spend 3x the money to get 1/5 of the items.

Also, not very familiar with whatever a "journey man" or "sunday" bag is. It looks like it only has one divider? So just 2 places to put clubs? Has carry straps, but no legs to stand it up?

So what, this is used for like a pitch & putt course maybe? Throw in a few wedges and your putter and just lay it down when you go to hit?

I have used Sunday bags in the past for quick rounds that I know I won't need all my clubs. I have a few bags that fit all 14 but it is a great bag option just to grab and walk a few holes with

Right, it'd be for a round or practice where you didn't need/want to tote around the full bag of clubs. Idk for sure, but you could probably fit 6-8 clubs in there. There is a lighted 9 hole par 3 course attached to my local practice facility, so this will be perfect for that.

Only gearheads would know about Club Cameron. I think the general public still goes to the bay for Scotty purchases.

Also great for minimalist golfers like myself. I only use 8 clubs, sometimes less. Been looking for a new bag as well, so today is a good day.

I may go against the herd and pass on the club cameron. As cool as it looks, I don't play a blade putter and already have a carry bag. I'm not into reselling things just to resale them.

If I spot any of you on the course with this bag, I'll shoot you a big compliment, but I think I'm going to sit out on the cameron merchandise. I love his putters, but don't see a need for the rest.

Aside from the welcome kit, how do the annual benefits work? Access to bags/headcovers that are limited release?

Yes, you get notice of upcoming releases, and if your fast enough, you’ll be able to buy them:) the general public does not get a chance to buy most of the releases, because they sell out.

After sitting out last year, I am in on this. The Ogio backpack from two years ago is the best backpack I own. I use it for work, personal travel and taking clothes to and from the course. As a Californian, I also loved the 72 & Sunny headcover. After getting shut out due to technical issues on a few releases and wanted to puke all over the camo kit last year, I was out.

The bag drew me back in. I've been looking for a sunday bag and like the look of this one. I play practice rounds of 6-9 holes with a driver, putter, even numbered irons and one wedge and this bag will be perfect for that. The rest of the gear isn't too bad and I'm sure I can find a place for it.

Back in after a couple of years out, love the bag. Typically bought shirts at each major release in the past and found that I didn't necessarily need to be CC to get them, which was not always the case a few years ago. Scotty sucked me back in!!
