P790 UDI's - Any news on these vs the full set p790s?

According to those who are at the Taylormade experience, the P790 UDI will come in a 2 iron, 17 degree with a HZRDUS Black 95g shaft. Due in March.

 

I for one, will be ordering the moment it’s availble...

 

Saw that too but I think typo cause Hzrdus only comes in 85/105 (tour only). We’ll see!

I thought so too, I’ve only ever seen 85 retail and then 105 Tour. I have no idea what flex to get if it’s 95 though...

Yeah X considering it’s a higher launching head despite being a #2 iron. But I’m guessing it’ll be 85/105. I hope it’s not a limited release though...

The way the guys who went to The Kingdom were talking it didn't sound like it would only be limited release, however, it looked like only a 2 iron.

 

I am far to excited for this release, Taylormade is going to make a killing on these.

I wish they would but it seems like from the guys that went to the Kingdom for the TwistFace experience couldn’t get an exact date of release except March/April so I don’t know if we’ll get that answer from the Merch show

Yeah when I wrote the "I don't care about the price right now," it was referring to the price that Taylormade will be selling them at when they release them. I'm sure TM will release them at a decent price, NOT $800 or $1,500!

That's what I was thinking, I would say that's a good number to count on or around. I'm sure they will sell fast and pre order will fill pretty quick. I would imagine half the orders will be from members here at WRX lol.

I agree that TM will release at a decent price point and I’ve been waiting on the two listed on eBay to drop to a lower price but I that hasn’t happen. They would be smart to drop to like 4-500 then I’m sure someone would buy and they’d make money before they have the retail release.

I agree that TM will release at a decent price point and I've been waiting on the two listed on eBay to drop to a lower price but I that hasn't happen. They would be smart to drop to like 4-500 then I'm sure someone would buy and they'd make money before they have the retail release.

Just FYI.....the 105 isn't just tour only. You just have to contact a dealer, like JD's clubs that has a good relationship with TT/Proj X. He was able to get one for me. I have it in my Srix 18 degree DI. It's a beast, but, it's awesome. I wouldn't be surprised to see them throw a 95 in the UDI if/when it releases. I bet it'll be around the Masters as that prime time to capitalize on high-demand releases.

I know it’s available through the right person but it’s whether or not TM will put that shaft or the hzrdus 85 or 95 in there. I’m going to get a 105 shortly but I’m just waiting on them to get more in.
