Shirts tucked or untucked when playing?

the older I get the more tucked I become.

Do you go tucked in or untucked when playing? I used to hate golf shirts untucked on people but since I have tried it, I now love it. Anyone else feel this way?

Polos/mocks always tucked in and TB Camp shirts untucked, but have a t-shirt underneath tucked in!

I don't think that tucking your shirt in is "dressing to the 9's". Most of the guys that I see untucked are either wearing jorts OR golf sandals. Hmmm.

Yea just where your hat backwards and complete the look.

 

Or better yet....... (these guys were in front of me for about 30 seconds before the guy at the counter told them they would have to to go home and change before he could let them play there). The guy was wearing - Jeans, boots, a white t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. His gf was wearing - booty shorts, a nasty tank top with her gut hanging out and filp flops. The funniest part was that they got mad and wondered why they werent going to let them play. Very classy.

I have more important things to think about than tucking in a shirt. So un-tucked for for me.

Mine starts tucked in, but normally after a few holes it's untucked. LOL

Tucked every time - I heard a tucked in shirt looks better on a man of my *cough* slightly fuller figure :)

Depends on the course rules and what kind of shirt I'm wearing. Shirts that are cut slim and short look good untucked, but I also have some golf shirts that are longer and would look like crap if untucked.

 

If you are on the bigger side, tuck it in though.

Untucked and certainly don't follow the dress code if that's a requirement.

I think a tucked in shirt looks better but my shirts become untucked everytime I take a lash at the ball. It is easier and more cofortable to let it hang out than tuck it in 100 times during a round. A tucked in shirt seems to inhibit my turn.

 

You need to buy longer shirts then :D

I'm for tucked in shirts - only way to do it on a golf course.

 

When I play tennis, I never tuck my shirt in, only way to do it on a tennis court.

I went to a private school and had a dress code. So it was tucked in and a belt was a must. I don't have to wear any sort of business attire at work, but I work outdoors so in the winter I always tuck my shirts to stay warm, summer I usually grab a t-shirt and try not to wear it at all, of course when I'm not going to a meeting. On the course, I'm with the group, depends on the shirt and the course. My home course just applied a dress code, but tucked in shirts are not on the list, so I go in between. It's pretty humid down here in MS so sometimes its just actually cooler to untuck and the breeze roll in.

I mostly go untucked with shorts when it’s really hot. I just feel cooler that way. Pants I always tuck it in.

I think styles are becoming more sporty. It is a sport after all. My shirt starts tucked and eventually ends up untucked multiple times a round.

I used to be untucked because the shirt wouldn't stay in.

Now I wear Adidas shorts and they have rubber logos in them that keep the shirt in place.

I'm usually tucked, but, on the rare occasion I do untuck, I tie the shirt tail into a knot in the front like a crop top belly shirt.

If it’s a casual nine or a fun round I have some nice polos that fit better untucked.
