I'll one up you, I bought some knife-making Damascus steel from India and cut an insert out that for a B2-05 M.Matter!!!!

Damascus is the capital city of Syria...

...once, before the crusaders arrived, it was a prospering town, where that high quality steel from India was traded.

Therefore, some people thought, it would be a good idea, to call that steel after the town, they got it from, even if it was made in India.
